I called Gina electric because of a smell of wires burning by a thermostat. I spoke with Sal and he said he could get someone there next day or day after. That night received a email saying they will be there tomorrow between 1-2pm. The service guy was on time and repaired a bad connection that was burning. He also checked the other thermostats to make they were OK. Would use him again if needed.

Perfect analysis of issue causing power outage - on an emergency basis - and lights on in one day - a minor correction performed on second day with zero hassle!

GREAT JOB from start to finish! Very informative in explaining process, "down to earth," very responsive, efficient with processing all necessary permits, inspections, installation of generator, transfer switch, gas piping & pressure checks and follow-ups. Sal and his entire team were truly a pleasure to work with and their quality showed.

I hired GINA ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE to: 1) Install an outdoor outlet 2) Replace an existing outlet on the side of my house. Sal and another technician came to my house and before they started, I made a point to say that I have in-ground sprinklers and to please be careful, you can guess to where this will lead. The work was done and they did a great job, but in the process of digging the trench for the outdoor power line leading to the outlet, two different sprinkler pipes were hit. One was kinked and the other was cut and there is water that is slowly dripping out. The gentleman who was doing the work told me what happened and he shut off the water at the sprinkler control box. He apologized repeatedly and I told him I wasn’t angry at him. Hey things happen but I expected GINA ELECTRICAL to bear some sort of responsibility. I called their office and spoke to a woman named Annmarie. She was fairly rude and insulting. She stated multiple times that they can’t possibly see through the ground to know when’re the pipes are. I was super nice to her. I told her that I wasn’t looking to start a fight and I just wanted to discuss what can be done. Here’s the Insulting part, she then says to me ā€œwhat do you want? You want money!?ā€ That statement was uncalled for. It just came off crass. I told her that I did think that some sort of compensation was due. Then she spoke to the technician who did the work and then I spoke to Sal. Sal told me the same thing about not being able to know where the pipes are under the ground. But Sal has a much nicer demeanor. I'm not writing this review to see this company burn to the ground. They did good quality work and the outlets look great and function. But to absolve themselves from any wrongdoing doesn’t really sit well with me. Not only am I now left with paying to repair the damage myself, but the sprinkler company can’t come out until the beginning of July. So now I can’t water my lawn for at least a couple of weeks. This is just creating a hassle that I didn’t expect at all. I really hope it rains for the next two weeks.
Response from GINA ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE CORP
"We understand that you are upset but we tell everyone we dig for that we can not see under ground and we are not responsible for anything we can’t see. It’s actually in the verbiage of our estimate. We also don’t repair sheet rock walls and ceilings. Our electrical work is awesome, but we are not sprinkler installers so we don’t have any tools or materials to even attempt a repair."

Went well. First repairman was a young man. After 90 minutes had not found problem. Boss showed up and found problem in 10 minutes. Both professional and friendly.
Response from GINA ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE CORP
"Just a clarification, I stopped by because I was in the general area but the problem had already been repaired when I arrived and my tech was just cleaning up the unit because it had some residue in and about. Thanks for the review and the chat, Its always nice to meet the customers whenever I can."

My exterior outlet was installed by the previous homeowner and clearly not done by a licensed electrician. It corroded and stopped working. Gina Electric installed an outlet more appropriate for sealing out moisture. They did it quickly, efficiently and at a fair price. A++, will use again if needed (though hopefully not!)

WARNING: READ MY ENTIRE REVIEW Had electrical short in underground wiring to 12 driveway posts & uplights. Sal sent 2 nice young men, Brian & Craig, who worked several hours and had to stop work due to darkness. They successfully were able to get 2/3 of the lights to work without the circuit breaker tripping, and said they'd have to come back another day to finish with an estimation of 2 more hours. When presented with a bill for payment of $1710.84, I remarked how I felt this was exorbitantly expensive for LABOR ONLY, and when Brian said he would speak with Sal about having the couple of hours needed to finish the job when they return "considered included", I PAID THE BILL IN FULL. When the Brian & Craig returned to finish the work order, I was surprised to hear the job would now take 4 hours and that Sal planned to charge for the visit (at $225 per hour). After stating my distaste for the intended additional charges, Brian called Sal from his cell and returned to say the best Sal will do is "pay cash - No tax"!) I refused to sign the work order for the additional charges, so Brian & Craig left without resolving my problem. I still have 1/3 of my lights disconnected and not working. Let me be clear in that, although more seniored licensed technicians may have resolved the problem in less time, my issues are NOT with the service guys Brain & Craig. Having personally owned for 25+ years a sanitation business with Service Technicians, my issue is the lack of good customer relations consciousness to "do the right thing". PS: I called Sal prior to posting this review with the hope that I wouldn't have too.
Response from GINA ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE CORP
"We worked for the pre determined rate of 225 per hour for 2 men. They worked diligently uncovering numerous improper buried splice boxes full with water and improper wiring done by inexperienced unprofessional laborers. You stated you had others out there to try to repair it with no results. We located all the faults that were buried. And repaired them and got most of your very large holes driveway lighting repaired. We could. It continue due to it becoming dark outside. We set up a schedule to return and complete the repairs and sent you a confirmation e mail. When we arrived you told my men you weren’t going to pay and refused to sign the work order. You expected us to just do whatever troubleshooting was required for free! We work on a 10% profit margin. I’m sorry we can’t work for free. You can take the fact that we spent an hour getting to your home this morning and then waiting around for you to approve the work order as your self determined discount.."

Wonderful experience - team arrived on time, took the time to make sure everything was done right and even walked through at the end of the day to review all of the completed work with us instead of just rushing out the door. Would definitely recommend and will use them again for any of our future electrical needs.

Completed successfully and expeditiously. Gina not only sold and installed our standby generation, but they have also done a significant amount of work in my home...and we continue to use them. We are very pleased that we have found a reliable electrician.

Dan and Liam came and removed the old belt. When they took down the frame with the louvers, they helped clean off the dust and grime. The new belt came in much quicker than I expected. They returned 2 days later and installed the new belt. Now the louvers open all the way and the very old fan works like new.
