"The customers review was given 2 ½ months after our service was performed and after the cooling season was over: The customer had a shorted wire from the indoor air handler in attic to the outdoor condensing unit. We advised the home owner to schedule an appointment to have a new wire ran, as it was a Friday afternoon and approx. 90 degrees out. Customer could not fathom possibly going through the weekend without his central air conditioning working and wait for an appointment to have a new wire ran. The customer pointed out a wire near the condensing unit that he THOUGHT was an extra wire from an old central air conditioning unit from a previous owner. He asked our technician to cut it and use it, but our technician refused as he didn?t know if it still had a function or not. The customer positively said it was no longer in use and decided to cut it himself. After the customer cut the wire, the gauge was not sufficient for air conditioning use. After the customer cut the wire and we told him we couldn?t use it, our technician went the extra mile on this 90 degree Friday afternoon to run a new wire from his indoor air handler in the attic to his outdoor condensing unit and not make him wait for an appointment. After the technician got the system running with the new wire, he noticed it was running very inefficient, due to lack of maintenance. We suggested cleaning both his indoor and outdoor coils and he agreed to have us do it and agreed the price. The customer was very happy after the service was complete, happily paid his bill and thanked us. 2 ½ months later, when the customer went to start his heat, he found out that the wire HE CUT ( that was advised not to) was actually part of his heating system!"
