Flower Shop of Farmingdale

My daughter received her flowers and they were beautiful. She received them on a Wednesday afternoon. By Sunday in spite of daily water changes and giving the stems fresh cuts over half of the roses hung over limp at the neck without opening. Knowing that her boyfriend payed a lot if money for the flowers I called the shop the following morning. I was told that the roses should only last a week. (They didn't). And that not all roses were meant to open. I worked for a retail florist and rose grower for years. I have to question the quality of the flowers this shop uses if this is normal. While the design work was high quality, it means nothing if the quality of flowers used is subpar. Even more upsetting was the lack of customer service when I politely brought the matter to their attention.
