Could not have been more pleased with the entire process. Adam was extremely courteous on the phone, and he explained everything that needed to be done, or could be done, and I thought their price was very fair, as compared to what Angi was quoting me. Even though they were a little behind schedule, the pro was 100% professional and personable as he installed our ceiling fan that required him to cut the ceiling to make room for a larger junction box. We could not have been happier with the way everything turned out.

Their pricing is exceedingly high and based on a flat rate for the first hour, after which they charge by the MINUTE! In reality this means that when the crew is slow, wastes time by explaining and talking to customers unnecessarily, the company can charge more. Never heard about such policy before. They came to replace an electrical outlet which was worn and replaced a switch: $399.00 incl. taxes. The work took 1 hour and one minute. They tried to convince me that the installation prior was not up to code (but I never had a problem with breakers or shorts!) and I would need a new line tied to another outlet 6 feet away. That would have cost an additional $400.00 (!). Knowing how these electricians install wires, it would have been some "Joe Bj*** ***" with hanging wires in the crawl space. Even though they were "nice" people and worked cleanly, I would not hire them again as I don't endorse price gauging with the constant excuse of COVID, shortages of people and supplies.

Steve and Matt of Fielack Electric Corp did a fantastic job at my home. They called to confirm the morning they were coming, and gave me an accurate ETA. I had the following things done: [1] Replace an old (not up to code) outdoor electrical outlet (w/ GFI and in-use cover) [2] Install Google Nest Cam with Floodlight over my garage door and in the backyard [3] Replace an old outdoor lamp post and fixture They did a very professional job on all these tasks. After installing the Nest floodlights they took the time to make sure that everything worked and that it all connected properly with the Google Home App on my mobile devices. I was extremely impressed with the installation of the lamp post. They had to dig down 18" to properly rewire the light fixture. I appreciated the great care they took in carefully digging around the plants. After the install everything looked the same - no damaged plants at all and the mulch was neatly replaced as before. As they were doing the job, Steve and Matt made sure to clearly communicate what they were doing - so that there were no surprises. I have more electrical work that needs to be done on my home next year. I'm definitely using these guys again!

The work was done very quickly and efficiently. The "look" of it is extremely professional and we have had no outages or other problems since inception.

I have used Fielack Electric since buying my home in 2009. The are professional and courteous and have always helped me out when needed. My ceiling fan stopped working. I called them to install a new one, which worked for a minute and then started clicking. They immediately returned to check it out and said they could replace it if needed, but it would be best to have a new fan on hand should this be a problem with the fan itself that they cannot fix, so I did just that. On their way out, they even fixed a faulty outdoor garage light for me! When they came back, they checked the old fan, said the problem was worse and that the fan was defective. They boxed it all back up for me to return to the store. Then they installed the new fan which works great and looks beautiful! They were so friendly and not annoyed at all. Spent a great deal of time making sure the new fan worked great and cleaned up all the parts from all fans involved. So appreciative of their time and help. I highly recommend Fielack Electric!

Went over specs on phone and I was given a quote right there and then. The guys showed up and got right to work. They went over the job and were meticulously clean. Job went smoothly and works 100%. Crew was great and efficient. Would definitely use again.

Terrible. I hired Fielack to replace existing wall switches on one floor of my house, and two hanging pendant lights over my kitchen island. They sent two technicians out. The most important part of the job for me was for them to install the lights over my kitchen island. I provided these lights, high-end lights from Williams Sonoma. Shortly after they began, the older tech refused to proceed installing the kitchen island lights because he could not confirm the lights were UL certified. (UL certified is a classification by Underwriters Laboratories to ensure electric components are tested and safe. This is verified by a shiny "UL Certified" sticker on an item) The tech terrified me with detailed stories of electrical fires and how they can kill people if items are not UL certified. DUMB thing to say for an electric company business. I assured this defiant tech that these are purchased from Williams Sonoma, and I extremely doubt that a multi-billion dollar company would take the risk of selling anything not certified. So, just put them up, I'll sign off. Defiant, and arguing with me, he refused. Which put the burden on me to contact Williams Sonoma, look inside the packaging, and try to ensure him it was UL certified. Sure enough, I found the UL label tucked in the item. When I confronted him and showed him the UL label, he said, while looking at the box that said MADE IN INDIA: "well, you cant trust anything from communist countries." (The item was made in India, not communist) At this point they were so involved with other installations, and the vibe was so bad, I just let them proceed and not bother with the kitchen island lights. Time after time, the older tech kept calling out things that were not perfectly to code in 2020. OF COURSE NOT, my house was built in 1934! I was only replacing existing fixtures, not rewiring or changing layouts. It was like I invited the IRS to a poker game! It got worse. After wasting 1-2 hours debating me throughout the day, they were falling far behind. Thats when the defiant tech notified me that they had to leave by 4:30p. I said, WHY? they job isn't done! Why? They had to go to their company Christmas Party. I can't make this up. Thats when I called the owner, told the workers to get out of my house. I ended up putting the UL certified, non-communist kitchen hanging lights up myself. But still having many wall switches and outlets not installed (after spending over $1200 for the day) I called the owner to ask for a different crew to come and finish the job. Answer: sure, but you pay me 50% of the extra time. This is the level of service that is possible from this company. It's hit or miss. So, hit up another company that won't make you miss your time and money.

Wow, they just left and I am so beyond impressed with everything, from start to finish. Adam helped with our estimate and was a pleasure to work with. He came next day for our estimate and from there, went above and beyond to answer every single question and concern of mine, he was fair in his pricing, very timely in his responses and even remembered the layout of our home when I called a month later. They were even able to schedule the job next day due to the inclement weather. Jim and Matt arrived early and were so courteous and pleasant to work with (they were even extremely considerate of my infant's nap schedule). We had them install two new outlets for ac's and electronics and they had to snake the wires in impossible places. Jim listened to every single one of my concerns and came up with excellent solutions and they left everything in better condition than they found it. When I asked if there was another way to get the job done, he listened and offered to change his plan. It was so nice having a contractor actually listen to you and work with you. I will definitely be hiring them again - I am so glad I finally found an electrician that is respectful of an older home. Thank you Adam, Jim & Matt! You guys rock!

Professional job. It was done well, quickly and safely. They were friendly and responsive. I use them for all electrical jobs big and small.

Adam, Steve and the Fielak crew did an amazing job. I’m blown away at how they were able to wrestle 10 lights into an existing ceiling with very little cutting or mess. They were super professional and responsive through the whole project. They were able to fit me in their schedule very quickly and during the holidays, which was a huge help to me, since lighting was the first step in a long renovation process. Fielak gave me a head start on my renovation process, speeding it up and ultimately getting me into my house quicker.

Overall, excellent. I've had electricians - professional quality - come in and do shoddy work that ultimately put my old home (built in the 1920's) at risk of failed wiring hookups and ultimately a fire hazard. Fielack takes a different approach, and did the quality work needed to make an old home safer (especially the replacement of our ceiling fan). Overall, this is a professional shop that you can count on them (two man team) to show up, and do the job right. Perfect example of you get what you pay for, and in my case, that is safety, timeliness, cleanliness and quality. They wore masks the entire time, and cleaned up impeccably. Use Fielack if you want your job done right by real professionals.

I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to come in the afternoon the day I called, thanks to some weather related cancellations. They were here for maybe 1 hour. Circuit is installed to code and works. Can't ask for more than that.

The work Fielack Electric team performed was outstanding. I decided to hire them based on the thoroughness of the estimate procedure and other reviews I had read. I will be using Fielack Electric in the near future for additional work that needs to be performed. 1) Contacted me the day before the job and confirmed appointment. 2) On day of the job, called before arriving and arrived as scheduled 3) Reviewed job before starting. 4) Flooring was covered in work and “walking” areas. 5) All work was done neatly and professionally. 6) All work areas were cleaned of debris and there was no mess when job was complete. 7) Job was completed as estimated with no surprises or additional cost.

This went great. I got a quote over the phone. They showed up on time, were neat, respectful of my property, took the time to explain things. They found some wiring issues with my current wiring and provided an additional quote to correct. I decided to have the additional work done as well to be safe. I had a broken bulb removed from an exterior fixture, two exterior fixtures replaced, two Ring doorbells installed (both with new lines run), two bathroom fans/lights replaced (one needed venting to the outside which they did), two new lines for upgraded amps in both bathrooms with GFCI breakers on the panel. I just have some sheet rock patching/painting to do but everything is done now and I'm happy. :-) Thank you Steve and Steve (SI)! Great job!

I must say that my first experience with Angie's list has been extremely positive. Fielack Electric was one of a few companies i met with to repair damage done to my home caused by a falling tree limb. They arrived within 24 hours and I was immediately impressed by there professionalism. They explained what was required to repair the damage and bring my electric system up to code and walked me through the entire process. I compared the estimates and the decision was easy to make: I called Lou at Fielack to accept the proposal. He informed me that he was concerned about a potential fire hazard and therefore would rearranged their work schedule and would have a crew out the next day. The job was completed quickly, professionally and without incident. There's no need for me to check Angie's List for an electrician again, as Fielack Electric will be my choice.

Arrived as scheduled and quite professional and polite. The required work was performed as I had arranged and cleaned up appropriately. Price exactly as discussed. I have no reservation about recommending this knowledgeable and qualified electrical company and certainly would use them again.

I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Fielack Electric. From my initial contact with Annette and Jim to set up the appointments to the finished work, everyone was extremely professional, punctual, and honest. The electricians (Dave, Dan, and Bryan) completed everything to my complete satisfaction! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality electricians!

When my wife and I bought a house in April of 2018, we discovered that it had a number of wiring problems, with multiple code violations that were missed by our inspector. The team from Fielack electric, led by David, explained all the issues to us in a very clear and understandable way, and gave us a good understanding of which issues needed to be fixed immediately (because they were potential fire hazards), and which could wait a little longer, since our finances were kind of tight after buying the house. They were also very honest in explaining that even though some things could be done in a cheaper way, they would still be in violation of codes, and could still cause problems in the long run. Compared to the other electricians I had worked with in the past, I felt that even when Fielack wasn't the cheapest option (although more often than not, they were), they were the most detail-oriented, and the most invested in not just getting the job done, but getting it done in the best possible way. Over the following several months, David and the other electricians did all the rewiring that was necessary, and even though their new wiring went all over the house, they were able to route everything so invisibly, as to only need one small wall area in front of the bathroom where a square in the wall had to be cut out (and replaced). All other access points were done in places covered by cabinets, stove, etc. They worked efficiently, made sure that everything was cleaned up after the job was done, and even kept an eye on our two kittens, making sure to keep doors closed when needed to prevent the kittens from sneaking into the house's crawlspaces and getting themselves into trouble. Today, David and Mike came by again to install an outlet under our kitchen sink. Very impressively, even though he hadn't been to our house in months now, David still remembered where all the access points were and even called ahead to let us know which areas of the kitchen and cabinets should be cleared off so that they could access them more efficiently. As they were working, even though the price had already been agreed upon, David realized that the job could be done more efficiently by using some of the existing unused wiring, and proposed to me that they can do that instead of their original plan, decreasing the final price that we had to pay. Overall, dealing with Fielack Electric, and particularly with David, Mike, and the rest of their team has been an excellent experience, and I'd definitely ask them to return for other electrical work I may need done in the future.

These guys are great. I would highly recommend them and plan on hiring them again in the future.

Steve and his assistant did an excellent job. From the point in time that they came and formally introduced themselves to the completion of the work they were the essence of professionalism. They identified the problem immediately and recommended changing the kind of bulbs that I was using to LED's. I got the LED's and, not only did the high hats work again, the illumination from the LED's was significantly better than from the fluorescents. They replaced the under cabinet fixture with an LED fixture that illuminated with virtually no heat emanation and was somewhat sleeker and less obtrusive than the one that we had. Steve was fantastic. I would certainly hire them again.
