Rob and his team renovated our kitchen, living room and dining room which included taking down walls and adding a steel beam to make an open concept kitchen/living area. The workmanship, customer service and organization of the project was outstanding. And I loved the fact that I was able to view the details and timing of our renovation daily through an App. Our Project Manager, Nick, was with us throughout the project. He was extremely professional, always available to answer questions and ensured the work being completed was done with quality and timely. Rob’s crew was led by Sergio. Sergio and team treated our home like it was their own. They took extra care to block off the remaining parts of our home from dust and cleaned up after themselves each day. The team took pride in their work, always making sure the small details were taken care of. We couldn’t be happier with Fair & Square Contracting and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

We cannot say enough about the outstanding work of Rob Russo, Erin Russo and their entire team at Fair and Square! We used them for a large home renovation which included a new kitchen, dining room, living room, finished basement, windows and siding and couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Everything was completed with extreme care from the most pristine detail of the trim, crown moldings, picture frame molding on walls to the most eye-popping kitchen finishes and new doorway arches! Rob’s crew was impeccable treating our home with care, cleaning up after themselves and coming back to ensure small little details after the project was over were thoroughly cleaned up and followed through on. They were upfront and honest with costs, kept to our budget and went above and beyond to ensure our home project was completed as if it were their own. We will definitely be using them in the future! Excellent work done. Very responsive and easy to talk to. Extremely professional. Always responded to our calls and addressed any questions we had promptly. Work was overseen by owner Rob and his partner Jay. Both were great. Work was checked on to make sure it was going well at all times. Very satisfied with the finished product and everyone involved. I just had the best contractor experience I have ever had. Had my small master bath redone and it came out beautifully. Highly recommend Fair and Square - Rob the owner is so great to work with - he checks in every day both morning and afternoon, oversees the plumbing and electrical and any subs. Sergio the on-site foreman is a true craftsman whose work is impeccable - he takes such pride in his work and it shows. I also asked that when certain things were going to be done if they could do those on my day off so I could oversee it. They always accommodated my schedule! I had a couple of complications because of the small size of my room and Sergio figured out some clever and beautiful solutions - just really knows every aspect of construction. Every day they protected all my stuff while they worked and cleaned up at the end of the day and they dealt with my slight obsession with details as I laid out the marble tiles in the way I wanted so the pattern would look random! (They also put in a new skylight in the den). Working with their foreman was so easy cause he just knew what I was trying to do (an added bonus they are the contractors for the Nate and Jeremiah show on LI so you know they are good).

Rob and crew were great. They were on time and Rob was here every day. Rob created an online schedule and it was clear the progress that was made. The crew cleaned up every day and the work was excellent. Rob was quick to adapt to the changes that we requested during the process and were are thrilled with final product, I highly recommend Rob and fair and square contracting.

Rob and his entire team were fantastic from day one. We knocked down walls to make our first floor open concept and remodeled our entire kitchen. He sends a schedule online with every step of the way mapped out so there are never any surprises. This includes invoices that are due. If things change it is updated immediately. He is on the job site every day to monitor progress and sometimes jumps right in himself to work. His team is very dedicated and hard working. Their work was impeccable and they cleaned up every day before they left. Rob always made sure we were happy. If any problems arose he took care of things immediately and we were 100% satisfied. Even when we added on to the work list it was never an issue. Would work with him again anytime and absolutely recommend him. You won’t be disappointed.

What a great experience! Showed up when scheduled; set up a wall of tarps to keep the mess contained. When all was done I could barely remember the air conditioner that was in the wall! What beautiful craftsmanship and attention to detail!

Excellent overall experience

They did an excellent work, clean up well, polite and very professional, I would use them again as necessary. we had a problem on the large window, I called him up and he came and inspected the window and he called the manufacturer to arrange someone to come and check and eventually replaced the whole middle window. I had a leak on my den that 5 people came and wasn't able to find the source and this company came and looked into the leakage and was able to locate and fix the leakage in just half an hour.

Rob showed up on the day he said he would. Workers were professional and took pride in the work being done.

I have used Fair & Square several times over the last 2 years. Rob, the owner, is always personally involved and a pleasure to work with. His workers are respectful and always do great work. I have tried different contractors and have had many workers in my house for a wide variety of reasons, and F&S is also the most thorough at keeping the house clean, and removing any resulting project debris.

They were easy to work with, cleaned up well, made helpful suggestions during planning, but weren't pushy. The wall looks great.
