1042 Collision Inc

I have been a customer of 1042 for many years and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. No one was more stunned when I heard a crash after the bank teller neglected to close the drawer @ the drive thru window a few weeks ago. After placing a claim with my insurance company I immediately called 1042 Collision. Bruce instructed me to bring it in, and while I was there he contacted the insurance company and scheduled an appointment for an onsite inspection. I was advised of my rights and decided not to send photos as they requested. Bruce and Marie guided me during the entire claims process. Their customer service and workmanship are extraordinary. After taking a week for the adjuster to appraise, I had my car back within a day. I also had some minor repairs done to a second vehicle as well. I cannot say enough about 1042 Collision. I highly recommend them, always a great experience.

The work was done very well and the car looks as good as new. All the areas that needed work was done so well you couldn't tell there were scratches and dents on the car. They also cleaned the car and made it look like a new car. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my schedule to get the work done. They were honest about what they were going to do. Recommend them highly.

Got an estimate and after comparing them to other auto repair shops I decided to use 1042 Collision. Left a minimum deposit for the part and received a call the following day that the part was in so we set up an appointment that worked for both of us. Brought the car in early and waited. Work was done in the time they specified and all went well. Very satisfied

Terrible. 1042 and the insurance carrier could not agree on a price. While it is the auto body shop's right to reject the insurance carrier's offer, my car was held hostage until 1042 was paid $750. This fee included $150 in storage fees (those are industry standard), but the additional $600 mostly represented an "administration" fee and 10% of the offer submitted by the insurance carrier. 1042's written agreement does provide for the storage fees and 10% amount, but I have never heard of an auto body shop charging for services which were admittedly never rendered (i.e., the actual car repairs). Very unprofessional. While I cannot comment on 1042's quality of work (since the vehicle was not repaired), I certainly recommend that you stay away from this shop.

I didn't hesitate to take my car to 1042. I have been using them for years and trust them implicitly. Everyone makes you feel like you're their only customer, a rare thing in this day and age. They handle everything; you don't have to lift a finger. I got my car back when promised, and it looks like it was never in an accident. Special shout-out to Amanda, who called the insurance company for me and then got me into a rental car. Thank you!

THE BEST! Marie dealt with my insurance company claim, Bruce the estimate, and the rest of the team handling car rental and car repair without me breaking a sweat. Top notch people, top shelf work and all done on a timely basis. I have been dealing with them for 20 years and they haven't lost a step, actually, it's improved. I was very satisfied with the quality of work and overall service .They were very friendly and professional.  This was the second time I used their services and would definitely  recommend them to others.

The experience was as effortless as possible. I brought the car to the repair shop and Marie and her staff took care of everything else involved. Marie negotiated with my insurer and arranged for a rental car from Hertz to use during the repair period (6/10/14-6/24/14) .She kept me current as repairs progressed. The car looked great when I picked it up, and Marie was a delight to work with. `

I needed some collision type repairs made to my auto, and, there would be no insurance claim. I needed a rocker panel re-installed, a mising skid plate installed, a splash guard replaced, and the front bumber tightened up. i was told the job would take about four(4) hours. The job was done in three(3) hours including looking for a water leak . The job was finished with a free car wash. All this done while I waited and in less time that quoted.

1042 is an absolute pleasure to deal with: punctual, responsive, honest, and did a quality job. The transaction was easy and straightforward from day 1. Marie takes care of all the insurance paperwork, and my rental car was even ready when I showed up. Speaking of rental car, this was from Hertz and upsized (full-size sedan) yet I didn't have to pay extra because 1042 has an understanding with the rental company that it may only charge a daily rate that the insurance company allows. My car was ready on time, as promised. I would take my car there again in a heartbeat!

They do a great job and they are able to make you vehicle look great. I was very pleased and I would recommend them to anyone. The total was 2300 dollars for the work, but I only paid a deductible. They were done quickly and they have a very professional and hard working staff.
