Here at Rapid Moving & Storage, we are proud to be a locally owned and operated small business, located in Falconer NY. We have chosen to align ourselves with Stevens Worldwide Van Lines for interstate work. With Stevens, we are still able to fulfill the needs of our customers in an honest up front manner, but can now service customers nationally and internationally at competitive rates. We are very excited about the partnership and believe it will benefit our customers. Moving is stressful and many times overwhelming. We have set up systems and have the experience to mitigate that stress and anxiety. This is why we like to consider ourselves "your relocation stress consultants." In the process of renovating an older home in Buffalo, we had to disconnect two older cast iron radiators in two of our bedrooms. One must have weighted somewhere in the ballpark of 800+ lbs. For a week we searched for someone to move them out of the house. We tried countless movers and architectural salvage places in the area. The general consensus was they were too heavy and too dangerous to move and would probably have to be broken into several pieces with a sledge hammer to even attempt to lift them down the stairs. Someone even suggested a crane! By shear luck I happened across Rapid Moving and Storage online and gave them a call. Within 30 minutes of my initial phone a same day appointment was made to have three men come to remove them. Upon arriving, Will and his team had the mammoth radiator lifted and strapped into the dolly within 10 minutes. I absolutely could not believe it. They navigated a narrow back staircase and smartly glided what I couldn't imaging moving 2 inches down the stairs, out the door, and into their truck. Will, Neal and Vinny did an absolutely amazing job, and I am convinced after watching them tackle this, that they might be the best kept moving secret in the area. I have never written an online review before, but feel the need to spread the word that these guys are all you need for any moving job - I give them the absolute highest recommendation. They are professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable in what they do. They have certainly made our day!
