After a very wet beginning, Steve was finally able to begin work on his contract at my home.  Like many masons, the rain of May and June put him very far behind.  And, of course, that put my building contracto, Kirtus Dodge, back as he had to wait for all the masonry to be completed. FINALLY THERE WAS A BREAK IN THE RAIN!   We had an extension added to our garage for lawn and garden equipment.  Steve poured footers to code that were inspected, a slab floor, aprons around the front of the existing garage and the new addition.  But most IMPORTANTLY to me personally, he poured a beautiful wheelchair walkway from our driveway to the garage so I could access the outside with a wheelchair elevator.  And, believe me, this wheelchair walkway is WONDERFUL!
