Description of Work: I had the worst experience EVER with this company when I hired them to do a complete tear off and replacement of my roof. The owner sent people who were unqualified, inexperienced, and dishonest to do the job. They broke a skylight and tried to hide it as though they weren't responsible for it, the roof leaked in four places after they finish their job, they failed to replace pieces of siding and trim and left their cleats still attached to my roof. The owner avoided my phone calls, finally sent someone to address the issues but failed to fix the problems. The repairs dragged on for almost a year and resolution was mediocre. One of his workers actually admitted to me that the owner said he did a bad job on my roof. I suggest you stay far away from this company!

Description of Work: Northside did a great job of fixing my leaky roof and replacing my roof cabs. I am very pleased with the job they did and will hire them again in the future.

Description of Work: They did a complete roofing tear off and re-roof. The crew was polite and worked hard to get the work completed in 2 days. Clean up was done well. There was one small touch up and they responded the next day. I would use Northside again in a heartbeat.

The team was very efficient and conscientious about their presence, noise level (I work out of my home) and mindful of the debris coming off the roof and that neither our kids or dog would be hurt by any remaining nails or shingles. A very professional job!

Description of Work: $500 for 40 minutes of snow removal using a long brush..did not go up on the roof, two men showed up but one remained in truck as he was too cold. I foolishly wrote check for the amount of $500 but called owner next day, Sal Barbieri, and after explaining my unhappiness as to price/quality of work, he agreed to my request of a $150 refund. I am still waiting for the check.

Description of Work: Paid for a complete tear off and replacement roof. Had been having a problem with ceiling leak near fireplace. Services were prompt. Workers were polite. Had my interior ceiling repaired. That spring the roof leaked again. Worker came to fix the problem and repair the ceiling. Next year, roof leaked worse than ever. Someone came to "fix" it. Roof continued to leak. Owner started to ignore my calls. Long story short, I had to have a second contractor fix the problem. Apparently the shingles had not been laid according to the manufacturer specifications. Final repair cost over a thousand dollars, 500 of which was refunded by Northside. That doesn't include cost of repairing the interior ceiling damage for the third time. Had it not been for Angie's List, I'm sure I would not have been able to recoup at least part of the cost of this very expensive and very aggravating roof replacement.

They did the work on a schedule that was convenient for me; the cost was competitive; the crew doing the roof was courteous and very hardworking. I was very pleased with Northside and would recommend them.
