In mid July when I took the car back to have the timing belt kit put in Jamie halted work when he discovered some metal rot on the frame that was hidden by the plastic shields under the engine compartment.  He said in good conscience he couldn't do the timing belt job until I found out if the frame problem could be fixed. He recommended a company that specializes in frame work and I took the car there for the frame repair. 
My good deal on the car has become a medium deal but that's ok it will be a classic in just a couple of years.
As noted above he's working on the timing belt kit and radiator as I write.  He called me to tell me I could come down to see the engine after he had removed the valve cover and a bunch of other stuff and noted that things are in very good shape.  He spent time explaining various components and reviewing the frame repair.
This is a high quality mechanic who knows his stuff and is very ethical.  His pricing is standard, he doesn't pad the hour count and as noted above he won't do unnecessary or unwarranted work.  I recommend him highly.  He'll be doing all the maintenance on my other vehicles.

 Excellent work, good pricing.
 He's going to replace the timing belt, water pump, and associated seals on the car tomorrow (its due for these).  He said go ahead and order a kit I found online, after considerable research into the proper mix of OEM & aftermarket parts, and he'd do the installation of all the components. Many mechanics won't do this as they want to make some money by selling parts at marked up prices.
 I'll update this review after that is done.
