2. Materials. Ken Jones works with specific salespeople at VP Supply, Solid Surfaces, and at MIG to make the selection process go as smoothly as possible. There were a couple of glitches during the course of construction which he handled quickly and with relative ease. Also, we were able to make a couple of changes during the process.
3. The contract. When it was time to sign the contract Ken reworked the numbers to be sure that there would be no surprises.
4. The process. On the first day, and every day for seven weeks and two days, his men arrived at 8:00 to begin and worked till 5. He was there at the beginning and checked in every day to monitor progress. His crew has a foreman in charge of the days work. There were always at least 2 of them here. His painter came and went as needed as did the plumber and electrician. They were all experienced and competent tradesmen. At all times they were communicative and respectful.
The work ethic of all concerned was very impressive. They did not spend time chatting. The demolition was done quickly and within the first week we could see how the rooms would be configured. The tile work in the bathrooms was done with care and is really beautiful. Every day the work area was cleaned up completely. They were always careful to protect the house.
5 The follow-up. After completion we had a couple of small follow-up details. Ken sent his men over within a week to rectify the problems with no questions asked.
I recommend Ken Jones Construction with no reservation. We are very happy with the whole experience and pleased with the result.
