Justin Wurtenberg

The only reason we hired him was that he was going out with our daughter at the time. This review is based on his work- not based on personnel feelings. We asked him, in January, for an estimate but he continued to drag his feet and never did submit a propsal until after we hired his uncle Tommy Wurtenberg to paint the downstairs in April. While here, 3 lamps were broken as well as our glass table- he hit with a power washer while spraying our deck. Justin submitted his own proposal for painting the upstairs and, being with our daughter, we accepted it to help them out. While nothing was broken, and he did do drywall very well, he did not want to run on a time schedule. He was very early some days and very late on others. He was brought back several times to fix areas mishandled when he worked with his uncle or fix areas missed by himself. Months later (09/09/2011) his sister called to say we were missing our sterling silverware sets and she was correct. We had not used the set since Justin had come over for Christmas brunch. The set had been willed to us and cannot be replaced. The police were called.
