It was great. Jay is great to work with. He's a natural teacher, and always makes sure you understand what he's doing and why he's doing it. Jay himself serves as project manager, and has an extensive list of people who work with him. He works hard to make sure you're getting the best price and he advocates on your behalf whenever needed. Jay himself is very good at checking in regularly to make sure the job is going well, and if its not, he gets people back on track and ensures that they're doing what they're supposed to be doing. He gets extra credit for getting the job finished up the day before Christmas. I've had no ice damming since the work was done, and my house is clearly warmer and tighter now. I have been very happy with his work, and fully intend to hire him again in the spring for a bathroom remodel and other projects.

I had a variety of small handyman-type jobs around the house. Jay came in, gave me a quote, had his guys here in no time, and they did a fantastic job. When it was time to pay the bill, it came out to be well under the estimate he'd given me (which was reasonable). I was so impressed that I've hired him to do more work around the house. He's a great resource.

Excellent. Project was a total success and Jay was incredibly helpful at finding creative solutions to improve the finished product. Have received multiple compliments on the work.

Jay is a superb professional, and very helpful in his communication. He responded within a brief time, he came by to assess the situation later that day, and he returned the next morning to repair the opening, with an excellent solution to the problem. Even though Jay does many larger jobs such as rebuilding decks, remodeling kitchens and replacing bathrooms - he took this smaller job seriously - and showed respect for every job to be tackled. I'll be hiring Jay again - and plan to pass his card along to neighbors. It's hard to find a remodeling contractor who charges fair prices, takes all jobs seriously, and offers excellent work! Most excellent job, especially because the original door frames were not plumb due to the age of our home.

Jay went above and beyond in his installation and going out to bring in additional materials to complete the job, I was surprised at the final cost, for I thought it would be higher. Great job.

Jay did a great job for us. He was responsive, showed up on time and worked for 2 1/2 days without a break. He had great suggestions. The final product is absolutely perfect. We plan to use him for other work in the future including some plumbing and updated the insulation in our 1940s home.
