 + -1 morePick-up date was spot on. We were amazed at how quickly everything was loaded. The delivery date was somewhat fluid. Because we were a smaller move, piggybacking on a larger move that was on the same truck, a delivery window had to be created. We found that this was a common practice unless you wanted to pay much more for a "container" move. In that case, one company loads your furniture into a large container and another one unloads it at the other end. Then you are dealing with two companies and it costs more. In the end, our delivery date only varied by one day and we saved about $800 over the container move option. The movers put everything where we wanted it and assembled the bed and the dining room table. Once again, there were quick and polite. We already recommended them to friend, who used them and were also satisfied.
Description of Work: Our daughter was moving to her first job, after college, to Washington, D.C. It included a bedroom, couch, small dining room table and clothes. It turned out to be less than 2000 lbs.

Description of Work: Prompt, courteous, careful, and timely! Chris, Jose, and Mike were quite simply the best movers I have ever employed. And at 61, I moved a fair number of times! Not one thing was broken, not one wall marred. My husband and I would never want any other company to take care of transferring our possessions.

Description of Work: Very punctual and personable. My furniture was removed & returned when agreed upon. There were a few dings. There was one issue were the men said my couch could not be taken apart and removed. The men who came to refinish the floors had it apart and stacked it on top of my dog crates in less than 5 minutes.

Description of Work: Moved a full woodworkers shop of large tools from old basement to a new basement location. These totals are extremely heavy. The skill and professionalism of the moving team was beyond reproach. Even though the turns were tight there was no wall or trim damage whatsoever. Jim was helpful with disassembling and then reassembling the tools at the new location. They have all the tools and skills and experience for an effective difficult move. I look forward to them coming back to take care of the remaining furniture in the months ahead. I recommend E-Zmovers with complete confidence that they are highly skilled professionals in this industry.

 + -1 moreThey were very professional and moved all of our things in one day. They came when they said they would and delivered to the new address as promised. No damage to our things and the interior of the places we moved from/to. I highly recommend E-Z Movers and would definitely use them again with any move we make in the future.

Description of Work: Ez Movers moved some pieces of furniture including a piano from our house in Rochester to our daughter's house in NC. From the start, Jim (the owner) was more than helpful- giving me packing tips and answering all of my questions. On the day of the move, they were punctual, respectful and careful with the items being moved and even moved some pieces that were in my house to fill the holes from the items removed. On the NC end, they arrived as promised and were helpful as my daughter decided where she wanted items placed. |I would recommend EZ Movers with no reservations- and plan to use them again in 2 weeks for our own local move.
