About us

We are and always have been family owned and operated since 1974 (nearly 45 years). We are second generation carpet, tile and grout, furniture cleaning and flood restoration contractors. We do not use subcontractors for any cleaning work that we do. Subcontractors may be used in the event of a water and or fire loss. We are in a close network of contractors who perform stripping and waxing, blind and drapery cleaning, carpet strectching and repair and installation. We are here to help you with all of your floor cleaning and repair needs. We are not the lowest priced cleaners in town but, if you want your home, office, apartment, rental property, place of worship cleaned the best if can we are your guys. Came out for estimate right away, cleaned 2 days later leaving 2 full days for drying before move-in. Not that it needed it, was pretty dry the next day. Never had carpets cleaned anywhere before, they seemed to do a good job, covered all areas and left no smell or other problems. Carpets were in pretty good condition/newer but the few spots that were older got taken care of well.

They have cleaned several of my properties. They are very informative when removing spots. They always me know if they are able to remove the spots. They are very professional and they do the job quickly.

I had spilled a can of varnish on the carpet and called the varnish manufacturer - who suggested cleaning with paint thinner. I did, but then was concerned with removing the paint cleaner. I called Contemporary Carpet cleaning (they are located nearby) and they came right over. They cleaned the portion of the carpet where the spill had occurred and and did an excellent job. Unfortunately, my excessive use of paint thinner (I had to use a lot because a complete can was dumped) caused the carpet to later de-laminate (or bubble up). "EJ" had warned me that this might occur. I will be having them come back and clean the carpets in some other rooms in the house.

Contemporary Carpet Cleaning is very responsive. I had an issue they were back out in twenty minutes. I have recommended them. They take pride in their work and it shows. They move all furniture around. Very pleased they got stains out that I never though

Contemporary Carpet Cleaning has done a good job in the past but this last time there were new employees and I thought that while the quality was still good I am going to look for a more competitive company. They treated me well and I would recommend them to others.
