CASTLEGUARD PEST MANAGEMENT

Our house had ants all over the kitchen, within 48 hrs of our first visit the number of ants dropped dramtically. It was crazy, we killed 30 ants in 1 day. No we find 1 maybe every 5-6 days. It is a packagae where they come back for 3 stages.

John Fraysier, owner and operator of Castleguard was incredibly professional, prompt, and easy to schedule.  I had previously tried to book the bee removal with a large well known brand pest control company but after calling them several times and getting no return calls, I found Castleguard.  I called John on Thursday and he was at my house Friday morning even though he had to rearrange his schedule.  He solved my bee issue in half an hour for a reasonable cost.  I am very satisfied with his service.

John came over in a day or two to check our deck and found no infestation. He was very pleasant and professional. He found no infestation, thankfully, but told me not only what to look for but what I could use if I noticed the problem again. Very satisfactory experience and would definitely call him again.

We removed an old cabinet and uncovered damaged plaster and carpenter ants. John responded quickly, and arrived on time for our appointment. He instilled confidence and educated me about carpenter ants (I grimaced).

John investigated my three potential areas of bee activity and discussed what could be done for each. One of the areas was in a back shed that hadn't been entered in two years. John looked around the shed to verify that no bee nests of any kind were present. John then suited up and dusted the other two nests. John was very professional and explained each step along the way.

The service was top notch from start to finish. When I called for an estimate, the owner's wife provided excellent advice and information to ensure that I got the next available appointment within days. The company's owner confirmed by phone and arrived promptly as scheduled. He carefully surveyed my property for rodents, shared his evaluation, and advised me on the best and most affordable approach. After leaving a bait box and trap under the porch (which was difficult to access) he shared follow-up options for me to choose from. I opted to schedule a follow-up visit in a month (total price for both visits was $165) and he confirmed by email a week or 2 prior to ensure the date was still convenient. He again arrived promptly for this visit, emptied the trap, and went above and beyond the call of duty (trust me) to dispose of the carcass. I chose to schedule another follow-up visit a month from now (additional $45) which I consider well worth the money for such effective and professional service! I highly recommend this company. The others I called were more expensive with a longer wait time for an appointment.

Castleguard Pest Management is run by one guy. He is really good. He responds very quickly and he does the job himself. And he is very helpful.

The owner was punctual, thorough and provided a detailed report of all findings. Clearly knows what he is looking for inside the home and outside. He answered additional questions I had in a follow-up phone call, and provided references for nusance wildlife treatment. John's particular specialty is termites and wood destroying insects, and he has the respect of peers in the business as well. Would use CastleGuard's services again.

John Fraysier, the owner and operator of CastleGuard responded to a call about carpenter ants. We found piles of sawdust in a closet in our home, and some large black ants. We did not know where the nest was, only that the ants seemed to be coming from the nearby attic space. John came over and explained to us clearly everything he was going to do. He examined the space and, despite the heat, crawled around in our attic space until he identified the location of the nest (actually in the closet, in a wall next to our chimney). He had me listen to the sound of the ants (like cellophane being crinkled), so that I would be able to identify when the ants were dead. Though he said it may take up to a few days, the ants stopped making noise by that night, and we have not had a problem since. We have already scheduled regular quarterly maintenance with CastleGuard based on our experience. I would highly recommend CastleGuard!
