KDM Construction

The previous issue I had with this company has been resolved. It was a misunderstanding. They started working on the driveway today. 09/08/23-MY driveway is almost done. Waiting for them to return to do the saw cuts and sealing as promised. Will then give a final rating.

I located KDM while searching on Home Adviser. I do take reviews seriously and wondered how so many 5à ¢à  â   reviews? I called Derek this spring. My husband and I discussed what we were looking for in stamped concrete for 2 patios in our rear yard. We wanted a specific look. What we thought would be even more difficult, was the fact there would be two seperate patios. One patio on one side of my rear addition; one on the opposite side. This posed for even more expertise! We wanted it to look like weathered wooden planks like decking on a dock. I want a nautical theme for my yard. He assured me, no problem. I found a few ideas in photos of the look were going to try and duplicate. Derek who is much younger than my own children, was very confident that he could make this happen! Mind you, I am a worrier by nature. Hiring someone who I knew nothing about was a big leap for me. We kept in constant communication with each other over the summer. I had to push ahead several times to begin the work, due to unforseen issues on OUR end. He was very accommodating. He went out of his way to find a specific stamp he knew we would be happy with. Boy he was right too!! He knows his trade!! Derek and his crew are awesome! They are respectful of property and really listened and addressed our questions and concerns in the process. They felt like family by the time they finished! The patios, despite being on opposite ends of the house match perfectly and that is a feat in itself in my book!! Different days. Different pours. They did exactly what we asked and delivered what was promised. They actually went above and beyond in many cases. Can't say enough good things about them. Despite their youthfulness, they all are hard workers and we were extremely happy with their finished product!!

Derek and his crew are professionals in every sense of the word. They let us know how the project was going every day and the price was very reasonable. The job was completed and all debris removed. Garage floor went from dipped in place to a nice surface that will allow me to pull in with my motorcycle an back out. My only suggestion for the company is to keep the customer better informed. Derek's team is courteous and pleasant.

Unbelievable service from Derek and his staff!! I had a vision of what I wanted my patio to look like and he went above and beyond what I expected!! I wish I had more work for them to do because the communication, timelinesses, price and work was absolutely superb. They were on time. . The quality of work is superb. Communication was excellent. I have already recommended them to a friend of ours looking to get concrete work done.

The crew came and removed an old blacktop sidewalk and huge tree roots in day one. Day two was installing the sidewalk forms and metal mesh. The concrete was poured, brushed and the edges and expansion lines were perfect. Very impressed with the team's professional work and ethics. The finished job is a piece of art. Derek replied to all my questions and was reliable. I received my quote soon after the visit. I replace a worn pressure treated retaining wall to a brick (cinder block). He also repaired my driveway retaining wall. My new walls look great! The crew was very nice. The clean up was great!

KDM did amazing work, they worked with me with my all long process to get getting for site work, never complained because it was taking me longer then thought, once work was done they cleaned up everything, everything came out perfect!
