Bob Tanzini Plaster and Cement

Price quoted was to repair a crack in my basement wall the work done was just a patch. When I questioned the work done I was told the material he covered the crack with was water tight. I was not co comfortable with him nor with the quality of work done. For what I paid, which I thought was high I expect a repair not a cob job with material I could have bought and done myself. I asked if the work was guaranteed and I was told a flat NO. Many red flags and I felt I was being taken and sure enough the first rain the entire length of crack started to seep through and the material used to patch seep down the wall, my basement took on water 3 weeks after it was repaired . I called and when we spoke he was rude about me leaving a message on his home phone vs his cell. The trigger came when he was condescending with â  well this can happen maybe it did not bond no ownership whatsoever for the money he was paid and total failure of the work done. Yes I yelled at him when he would not own it and yes I refused to let him back into my home so he could put another coat on I only wanted my money back which he refused. He took advantage of my lack of understanding but I knew enough to know he did a terrible job and took my money and never looked back. He took zero ownership.

Bob came out and did an estimate. Replied with a reasonable cost and came out the very next day to fix my broken front steps. No mess no fuss. Thatâ s the way business should be done. Thanks!

The concrete between the flat stones on the steps(2) leading to the front porch was crumbling and there were a couple of spots on the porch that needed repair. Bob stated that it would take an Entire Day to fix the problems at the cost of $700!! In September 2020 he came over knocked the crumbling cement in a few places and put the new cement in. Completed in 30 MINUTES, he said that he had to leave(I thought that he had to get material, etc.) He returned in 30 Minutes with a cup of coffee and stated that the job was completed!! Like a fool, I paid him. By November 2020 the cracks reappeared and he came back, fixed the problem, and sealed where he had repaired it. This again took 30 MINUTES!!! On March 29, 2021, I called and told him that the cracks were worse than what he had repaired; he stated that he would come back to fix it, but I never heard from him! I continually called him 12 more times between March 29, 2021, until July 13, 2022(I have all the dates recorded) and he has refused to stop by. Thus, I paid him $700 for 1 Hour OF WORK!! Find some OTHER HONEST CONTRACTOR!!!

He said he would need to trim the shrubs a bit. But he went way overboard, including cutting an entire large shrub off at the ground and cutting off a big chunk of a beautiful lilac of my neighbors without asking. My neighbors plant was outside the garage and he was only working inside the garage, so it is hard to see a justification even if he had asked.

I am not at all happy with the job that was done. I thought that a professional would know that my foundation needed fixing. That is what we hired him to do. But the foundation wall that he fixed does not even hold my house up I can see daylight right thru it. And the wall that was repaired bows inward which will eventually cave in due the the weight of the dirt outside we paid him $9300 to make it look like he fixed it but it looks horrible and does not even hold my house up so I am confused as to what I paid for..... That is only among other things I am not. Happy about.

I called a few places and got quotes before I was introduced to Bob and his guys. His was by far the most reasonably priced and his method did not include tearing up the whole side of my house like the other companies wanted to do. This job that has been freaking me out for months was done in two days, was incredibly well done, and they even cleaned up the driveway and basement when finished. Iâ m super impressed with how quickly they were able to get the job done and will absolutely be calling them again to finish the rest of the basement when I have more funds. Thanks Bob, Mike, and Big Tony! You guys are awesome!

Beware! I was led to believe my foundation was in serious need of repair. I was quoted a price of $6000.00 to repair the foundation, inside and out. Mr. Tanzini and his 2 workers spent a total of 5 hours on my project. The cracks are filled but, at a rate of $1200.00 per hour this bordered on unethical. To top it all off, Mr. Tanzini actually asked for an additional $300.00 because of the unseen conditions at the time of estimate. He was denied this request. If you value your hard earned life savings, stay away for this company!!

Bob completed 2 difficult concrete repair jobs where other companies had failed. He redid the floor on a small porch that was in terrible shape. He also waterproofed my basement and the work was excellent! He showed up on time and completed the jobs before the day promised. I highly recommend him,.

Bob & I got off to a rough start but he showed professionalism and we finally got together. I was very pleased with the work he did. In fact I discussed additional work I want him to do later this summer after I have some deck work done. The scope of the work was to repair my garage floor but without any additional cost & without me asking he moved an heavy item out of the garage. I highly recommend him.

You did work for me last year I want to come back and stain the stairs

The job is still underway, the chimney and all outside work was done in two days, he is fast works fast and is very personable. Gets here and goes right to work, occasionally with one other, but mostly the work is done by himself. Very happy with the work so far.❤️
