The roofers showed up on time and did great work on the roof and gutters although communication was a problem. While replacing the roof, gardens in front of the house were destroyed. I was disappointed that payment for the roof work was demanded one evening by one of the co-owners William at 9pm in the dark. He said the roof was done but I couldn't tell because it was dark so in good faith I gave him a check. The next morning I discovered the roof wasn't done. William said the guys would be there the next day to start inside and when they got here they worked on the roof. The debris was supposed to be removed from the driveway every day but that did not happen as promised. They told me that they were retaining a structural engineer for a retaining wall but according to the "engineer" he was an architect not an engineer and the plans they say they submitted were refused by the city. I had no communication with JAT for one week and when they finally contacted me they wanted more money for the third floor work that was not completed. There were no plans or drawings for an entertainment center being built on the third floor and when the plasma TV didn't fit I was blamed because the TV was bigger than they thought even thought the TV was there the whole time for them to measure. When I refused to pay until they completed the work I contracted for I was called names and threatened with liens. I finally told them we were done working together before the job was done and I paid them for the work they had completed and asked them to leave.
