"We understand this customer's disappointment. Unfortunately, due to complications with our parcel service, we were unable to get the parts necessary to repair this customer's heating system in a timely manner. We strive to service our customers with speed and have come up short in that regard. In this instance, this customer did not dispute price in the initial estimate provided by the technician and we were unaware that this was an issue. We continuously train our Customer Service Representatives to interact with our customers politely and with the utmost professionalism. "Upon discovering the issue with this customer's equipment, we highly recommended replacement as we were doubtful that a repair would work. This customer insisted upon a repair, against our recommendation, which we then provided. As we predicted, the repair did not work. We then offered to apply the cost of the repair towards the purchase of a new system. This customer declined and indicated that she wished to take her business elsewhere. We never want to disappoint our customers, it is unfortunate that we could not resolve this issue but that is not for a lack of trying."
