BRENDAN'S AUTO BODY INC

So I received my Honda Accord back from Brendan's autobody, Elmsford 2 days ago. The image below is the car in the garage up to 3/3/2021, after almost a month of sitting there. They rushed it over 2 days. Put a cheap, ugly yellow bulb in the front, the daylights do not work, FWD collison signal keeps coming on daytime on I95, car sends message of head lamp errors. Lights on gear stick and dash do not work. I have not yet seen if the back is working but will check later today. The car feels very UNSAFE to drive! The car had been sitting in their shop for almost a month. Last week when I called, the lady in the office told me that parts were just delivered the day I called. The car is not new. They claim to have a Honda account which means parts are sent express. I went to the garage to check on the car. The same lady in the office told me that the car was finished and only needed to be sprayed. Whether God or my mind told me to ask to see the car. The Hispanic worker attempted to PHYSICALLY block me from seeing my vehicle. I threatened to call the police if he touched me because I have a right to see my vehicle. Upon entering the garage, the car had NOT been started to work on! She BLATANTLY LIED to my face! After having the car sit there for a month, within TWO DAYS, they called me to pick up the vehicle. The car feels very UNSAFE to drive. Lights do not come on. Signals that should not be on are going off over and over. The car feels like waste paper was used to repair it because ALL that these people wanted was the money. I knew Brendan had a sweet mouth and had my reservations about trusting them to fix the car but I went against my gut. Usually, Progressive puts the money in my account and I pay. This time, Progressive paid directly so what ideal did they make? Progressive insurance sent an Adjuster to see the vehicle, if the car should have been written off, they would have known because it is THEIR job! Brendan told me that if he does the work, its lifetime warranty, the car will be great with NO problems. Against my better judgement, I trusted people who operate in dishonesty and lies to get the money but I would be damned if am going to get a junk and they run off with my money I could have used to pay down on a new vehicle! This is not the great train robbery! I will pay for a lie detector test to prove that whatever am saying here is 101% TRUTH! I also have photographs of my car from the accident, in their garage and after they claim to have repaired it! Am certain that other people have had nasty experience with them or they feel that they can rip off the little black girl and it will be alright? I will call out ABC news and every Attorney I can find! I am angry because I should not have been lied to! Give me the truth so that I can make a decision based on facts not lies and deception to get my money!

This body shop is very busy and therefore getting their attention is really hard. I mean, if they promise to call you back, expect you calling them 2-3 times reminding them that they have to call you back, before they do. My car's repair was estimated to be about 2 weeks, it took them almost 2 months and the car was returned to me with some safety features not working (adaptive cruise control is one of them which almost resulted in another accident) and some assembly not done properly that resulted in excessive noise while on highway. Do not expect any timelines or heads up as to when the repair is going to be completed either. Overall, I would not recommend this shop and my experience was mostly negative. My car is drive-able right now but that's hardly an achievement considering all of the above!

Brendans coordinated the repairs with my insurance company, arranged for a rental car, and had my car back to me on the day promised. The car looked brand new. They also completely cleaned the inside. Great people, great service, great value. Would recommend without hesitation.

I have a 2010 VW Jetta and the back of my car was hit from behind resulting in extensive damage. I brought my car to Brendan's for repair. The front office staff was extremely courteous and took me right away. When I got my car back, not only was the area of the car where the damage was repaired to perfection, but my whole car was detailed; buffed, waxed, tires cleaned/conditioned, rims shined and the interior cleaned! I was so impressed, the car looked like the first day I drove it off the dealer lot! The work they do is also guaranteed for a year. If I ever need any body work done to this car or any car I have in the future, I will definitely be going back to Brendan's!

"Minor" repair, mostly plastic parts. Did a very good job matching the paint - I couldn't even see the difference in direct sunlight. No rattles, good job. Car was ready 1 day earlier than promised.

While I was waiting for my estimate, the owner was yelling and cursing at this secretary, employees and anyone in his path. He was angry about a part not showing up on time and just ranted and raved and cursed the whole time I was there. I have to tell you, I couldn't get out of there fast enough and I will never go back. The secretary just rolled her eyes at me, I guess she's used to it. They were following his orders to the letter, but, it didn't matter. I would never use a service no matter how good, that treats it's employees this way. And, who doesn't care if his customers hear him behaving like this.

Everything was wonderful; they did a great job on my car and it was ready when they said it would be. It was a total good experience and everything was perfect.

Got rear ended at red light. The girl who hit me didnt want to go thru her insurance and wanted to pay cash to get my truck fixed. I got 3 different estimates for her to be fair all of which were basically the same price. Brendans was $100 cheaper so she wanted to go thru Brendans. I knew of this bodyshop from living in town but never dealt with them. I brought my truck in for the estimate and met with Brendan and he came out and inspected my truck. He was very nice, gave me a tour of his shop, showed me other vehs being repaired and told me to bring my truck in whenever I want to have it fixed and that he would handle everything else. I dropped my truck off on a Monday and Brendan called me Tuesday and said it was ready. This was a big job and I was not expecting it back that fast. I told him I wasnt able to pick it up till thursday because of work issues and he said no proble, Ill have it delivered to your house. I felt that was above and beyond for an autobdy shop and I told him I would pick it up on Wed after work if he was still open. Brendan said no problem we will wait for you. When we pulled into the lot there was what looked like a brand new Ford Explorer, certainly not mine which I bought at a police auction and had a dented front fender and big scrape on the front bumper. I went into the office and met Brendan who brought me outside and led me over to the explorer I just saw. Your all set. I said this couldnt be mine because my front bumper had big scratches in it. He said that the painter had some left over paint so he took care of it. Mt truck looked beautiful, The rear was all fixed and you could not tell the car was ever hit. I asked how much extra I owed for fixing the front,and he said nothing. He said the truck was too nice to leave the shop with scraches in it. What a great exsperience from start to finish. I would recommend this autobody for quality work, friendly staff, professionalism and fair prices, fast turn around and good location. Its nice to deal with a local buisness, where the owner is fully involved and you feel good when you leave that you werent ripped off.

They were easy to deal with, flexible, provided a loaner

Called them about bringing the car in and said I'd be out of town, so we worked out a plan for me to drop it off at the shop. They worked on the car right away repairing the bumper and repainting it. I wasn't returning for over a week so they kept the car in their secured lot at no charge until I returned. I picked up the car and it looks real good; bumper is repaired looking like new, paint matches and everything is back in place in one piece.
