The experience was exceedingly aggravating. The wall system involved is proprietary and Bil-Ray is the sole licensed supplier/installer for the downstate region. The system itself is of excellent design and construction. We were given an estimate that it would take 5 or 6 work days to complete, And, in fact, all of the work probably did amount to 5 or 6 days--stretched out over 9 weeks. Except for one full day the people involved (usually just one man working alone) were never present for more than an hour or two. At times no one showed up for stretches of several days to two weeks. The company was completely unresponsive to all complaints and communications. Much of the work was done shoddily and had to be redone. In addition, the surface of one wall panel was damaged. Rather than replace it, as I requested, they "resurfaced" it. Within a month after the project's completion the new surface peeled. It took me three months of constant compalints to get them to fix this and I only got them to do it after getting the manufacturer/licenser of the the product to interven on my behalf. The product itself has performed superbly but I could never recommend anyone hiring this company.

Their price was okay, but we found someone to do it for less. They keep calling and calling and calling and it's been over a year. I keep telling them to take us off of our list but they won't, its annoying. They came on time, their price was reasonable but we went with someone else who had a slightly more reasonable price. They were okay, but I wasn't completely impressed. I probably wouldn't use them again because they continue to call and harass me with the telemarketers.

We could not have been happier with the project from the sales quote to obtaining the CO. All of the work was completed in five days. Now having the system for three months, it is extremely sound proof, keeps the heat/ or air conditioning in and looks great! It is now a cozy TV and computer room and an office. The team was so professional, neat and clean. They did everything we asked an offered very helpful suggestions. I can't stop talking about the company. I have undergone many renovation projects, but this one was by far the easiest and least stressful.

This company does work for BJ's. Unfortunately, the work date had to be rescheduled twice due to weather, but the rep called the day before and was sincerely apologetic for the delay. On day of the work, they showed up very early, worked 12 hours straight, were respectful, and did not make unnecessary noise. The following day they arrived early, finished off some minor details, and cleaned up every trace of debris. I obtained three estimates for this work, and this company was the middle price. I believe the rep was honest and pointed out items that were causing me leaks and other companies did not. He made a rational argument for the reasons his company was not the cheapest, and I felt comfortable knowing BJ's was sub-contracting Bil-Ray, and I could always contact BJ's if I had future problems.
