Liars and theves. Everything was great until the contract was signed and deposit paid. They quit after two days on the job, broke the contract. Lied to have spent nearly full deposit on labor and materials ( o a five week project ). Don't let them into your house. They were found guilty in Nassau administrative court, but i could not recover the money. Pictures below is how they left the work site. Did not even complete demolition

"ABSOLUTE LIARS!!! My client and his wife made us change the entire scope of work 8 times. YES 8 TIMES!!! His wife claimed to be an all knowing architect, yet every time we presented the new plans their building dept. would reject them. The building inspector and the town clerk literally warned me to "RUN WHILE I CAN" and "GOOD LUCK WITH THOSE PEOPLE". I later found out how unreasonable and ignorant they really were. In his review he claims that Nassau Administrative Court found me guilty. If I was found guilty, why did the judge rule in my favor? The customer states "But I could not recover the money" He couldn't recover the money because the judge found THEM guilty and rewarded New York Contracting Associates Inc the money. Yes I was rewarded the money and I have the court documents to prove it. The only reason why I did not sue them for liable and slander is because it would've taken too long and would have been to costly. In all my 35 years in business this is the first and only complaint that I have ever gotten. If you don't believe me just look me up in Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau."

Professional, clean punctual and responsive. We had chosen a color and when it was on the wall it did not look as we had expected, The contractor repainted immediately. No gigantic cost over-run. They charged us what they quoted us. My office practices in the field of personal injury and we have had seen nightmare scenarios with inadequatrely insured contractors. I read the NYCA insurance policy and it suited our purposes. I had interviewed and read the insurance policies for 15 other contractor before we chose NYCA

My husband and I could not have asked for a better contractor. My husband and I decided to do a complete kitchen renovation, gutting everything, we got a few estimates and the prices were absolutely ridiculous and way out of our budget $38 to $50 thousand dollars and can take 2 to 3 months, we knew that was crazy to be without a kitchen for so long. We didn’t give up to find the right person for the job, and we did after meeting Mark we received an estimate for around $25 thousand, he knew exactly what to do, what it involved and for most what we wanted. It was a complete new design layout, involving moving electrical for stove, counter outlets and brand new overhead lights, also plumbing for moving dishwasher, flooring and etc.. It came out beautiful, and only took about 3 weeks, we have so much cabinet and counter space I can never complain again. Mark was absolutely great, he was very dependable and extremely hardworking, I highly recommended him. Toni and Bill Prince

Mark and Tina were responsive to my questions, were able to help me troubleshoot what would work in my very unique space, and had some good ideas for maximizing the space I did have. We turned a small walk in closest that was adjacent to a half bath in the master bedroom into a full master en-suite bathroom, which required a lot of re-configuring of where each bathroom piece would go to achieve what I had in mind. The team that came in to do the electrical, plumbing, and tiling, were professional, courteous, and very good at their respective crafts. My ambitious project was never doubted by the entire team- they worked with me to achieve exactly what I had wanted, and we would be happy to work with them again for future home projects.

Always on time, very nice and honest. All the work was perfect ,clean up great. Mark Versace (owner) came up with different ideas (out of the box ) that we love the outcome! i would put pictures up but don't know how to download ! Prices better then fair.

From the first meeting with Mark I knew.this was going to be a good thing. You can tell by his qualities.that he is honest and professional. I started out with just doing one bathroom to continue to do an addition bathroom and kitchen. His work is of high quality and leaves the.place neat and.clean. His attention to detail is fabulous. I highly recommend him and would refer him to everyone!
