 + -1 moreWell, I filed charges in court for the roof issue. As for the siding issue, their Quality Control Manager came to my home and said that the insulation is supposed to be "floated" because I have stucco. I won the court case for the roof issue but it was my job to get the paper work to them. It was hard to pin them down because they move quite often which is very shady. The papers came back as address unknown. They are not in Elmont anymore, and not in Long Beach any more. Last I heard they moved to New Hyde Park or somewhere over there. I've given up and moved on with my life. But I WOULD NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN OR REFER THEM TO ANYONE.
Description of Work: Bil-Ray is the subcontractor of Sears. I went through Sears because of their reputation. I did not choose Bil-Ray. Bil-Ray hired a subcontractor who put up the vinyl siding and new roof which included gutters and leaders on my house. This roof/gutter job was about $7,000. A few short years later, I had and still have roof leaks. Bil-Ray sent out some guy to look at my roof leak armed with a caulk gun on several occasions. The leak would recur every few months. Finally I had another company take a look and apparently the leak is because the gutters were pitched wrong. Other issues with their work was with the siding. I happened to have some unrelated work done on my kitchen which required the removal of the siding on the outside of the house to access the plumbing. When the siding was removed it was discovered that the insulation used for the siding job had huge spaces in between. Oh my God. So this means that my entire home has large spaces in the insulation.

 + -1 moreThey came for estimate and did not return when they were supposed to. We had to call again and canceled the service and they just said "see you in court" with no apology. They were very nasty and I would never recommend them.
Description of Work: They were going to finish my entire basement.

 + -1 moreEntire job completed in two days in a most professional manner. Crew of five workers were excellent and did highest quality work. Very satisfied from the original estimate to the job completion (also had windows replaced by same company). The quality of the material was top rated and the installation was done much quicker and better than I had expected. They also removed all debris and cleaned up everything. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Removed Cedar Shingles from front of house and applied Vinyl Siding to entire two Story Colonial house.

 + -1 moreVery professional workers. They did an excellent job of removing and replacing all windows and cleaned up and took old windows away. Very satisfied with the quality and workmanship.
Description of Work: Replaced all 19 Windows in my 2 story Colonial in 4 hours. New windows were vinyl double paned insulated glass of very high quality.

 + -1 moreI COULD TELL AN IMMEDIATE DIFFERENCE IN MY HOME WHEN ALL OF THE WINDOWS HAD BEEN REPLACED. THE MEN FROM BIL-RAY WORKED QUICKLY, INSTALLING ALL 10 OF THE WINDOWS IN MY HOME IN JUST A FEW HOURS.
