THAYER'S MOBILE HOME PARTS

Description of Work: We have hired Tom Thayer as our maintenance/repair man for a long time. He is thorough and does excellent work. We had/have a list of needed repairs or new items that we gave Tom in June 2011 but they haven't been done as yet. We're not quite sure why Tom hasn't been able to get us into his schedule; he's so very busy, but there's still hope. We desperately need two replacement windows in the front of our mobile home but last month Tom called to say the place where he gets his replacement windows won't construct them. They are an odd shape and hard to even clean. Tom told my hubby in the phone call that he'd keep looking though. They were top priority but there are several other repairs & newbies we're in need of also like a new storm door on the back door and Tom said it would be best to install a patio cover first and then the door. Great suggestion! We asked about fiberglass steps & landings front and back and pictures and prices which Tom said he'd drop off or bring down but they haven't arrived yet. We told Tom about the new roof, installed by a roofer, pouring water behind the gutters rather than into them and he suggested he apply something akin to rubber roofing tape along the drip line which will attach to the inner edge of the gutters and it sounded like a great solution to the problem. All in all, there are about 10 things we needed Tom for and since pennies are so tight in our house with me being disabled and my husband working only part time and getting his SS we listed needed items in order of priority. I will say that once in the past I apparently offended Tom with a tone in my voice that I didn't realize was even there. He wouldn't get back to me when I called so I went to him, face to face, learned of this issue, apologized profusely and asked that should I get that tone again when talking with him he was to please say: "Charlene...Tone!?" to which he agreed. I've been so afraid that I'd offend him again or someone else, that I've asked my husband to do the talking, which he hates. I don't think I've made that tone error again and yet we can't understand why Tom hasn't scheduled us for the work to be done. He is so precise about his work and we value that immensely.
