Joshua Olmstead

Josh is a nice guy and gave us the low bid on our roof.  However, our experience with him was marred by the poor judgment of starting a roofing project during an especially stormy week. This resulted in water damage inside, staining ceilings on two floors and saturating drywall in the ceiling cavity with water.  To his credit, Josh worked with us to try to paint over the water stains and on our request brought out an electrician to check electrical fixtures for water damage, but it shouldn?t have happened in the first place, and cost us significant time and money while trying to put our house on the market from across the country.  He stopped short of accepting responsibility for the damage, but an unprofessional lack of attention to detail in other aspects of the job (missing flashing pieces, trash left on roof, nails left on the ground until complaints from a neighbor prompted clean-up, sloppy painting, shifting of blame to hired workers) leads us to suspect that the roof was likely not correctly covered during the heavy rain.
