Work included:
excavate soil with some stored and distributed on site and haul away debris including extra dirt (Bobcat used, jack hammer, power wagon plus handtools)
5 foot diameter around each tree left as soil with soldier row of pavers.
Existing drainage combined sections house gutters and yard water collector were removed from under new patio section, and replaced along with an additional larger retangular drain grate at edge of new patio.

installed 8 inches of gravel, metal edging for outside, sloped to match surrounding areas while channeling water towards new drain with tamped sand as top layer for paver base, and careful use of transit to keep water moving towards drain.
multiple shades of pavers installed and large variety of cuts required for both the tree circles and outside edges.

Use set aside sod to backfill edges around patio, with some smaller area requiring extra soil and seeding
Shaun is very good at setting expectations and coordinating both deliveries and his on site people. He is also very tolerant of the and quot;work at homeand quot; owner presense.

Shawn was very cooperative, working with us on the original design, making suggestions, listening to our concerns, and dealing with unexpected difficulties such as old tree roots. Since this is the front of the house, it is very visible from the road. We get many complements as well as enjoying the improved use of the space. He was also good about moving some dirt for later use, and dealing with reseeding lawn areas as required. Payments were made in 3 parts reflecting initial material delivery, partial completion and job end over the space of approximately two and a half weeks.
