Bilt Rite

Mike and the crew took my muddy mess off the back of my garage and turned it into a beautiful patio with drainage because the land slopes toward the house. I would highly recommend him.

Mike is the contractor for Bilt Rite. He subcontracted all his work. The Carpenter-Tim and the Steel Roof guy-Brian were excellent. He used Alden Cement, who was the main base to the foundation and floor of the garage. The cement work was done wrong. The foundation walls bowed out and the floor was not level. The Carpenter would not even touch the project until the walls were square. The 2-week project was delayed and took 6 1/2 months due to weather, delays from mistakes, ordering parts, and lack of communication. After the down payment, Mike had a hard time communicating any updates with the project. We had to call or text him every time we had a no show, lack of supplies, or scheduled times for when the crew was showing up. The only time we heard from Mike was when the next payment was due. Before the project was done, he was requesting double the final amount for the intense labor for the cement work mistakes. We agreed on payment on the first, after the cement was completely poured, and at the final inspection. When we refused, he threatened to walk but said: he had integrity. Double check any work being done as written in the contract. He had to correct doors (not insulated), and cut cement, add vents, and support collars which were on the architects drawing. Think twice before hiring Bilt Rite.

Any problems we had he took care of directly.

From estimate to completion; exceptionally professional! Mike and crew repaired and replaced our driveway apron and sidewalks, they look terrific. They diligently labored over an obstinate tree root to insure a perfect outcome. We so appreciated their efforts. We will be singing their praises to everyone we know. Bilt Rite should be your very first call.

This was a complete nightmare from start to finish, 5 weeks behind schedule, nothing was done when it was supposed to be done, drywall guys turning up at 7pm to start work, The contractor did not do his homework then expected me to pay extra, when we had a contract with a no change order in place. Tried to charge $2,000 extra because of his mistakes.

Mike, Jerry and crew were a pleasure to work with. Bilt Rite tore out an old pitted garage floor and laid a new floor for us. They were punctual, thorough, efficient, and did excellent work. I would recommend them highly.

Needed 40 feet of sidewalk replaced. After a little phone tag, Mike stopped by on a Sunday to give us an estimate. I told him we just wanted to be on his schedule, no hurry. That Wednesday 2 workers arrived to remove the old sidewalk. Friday morning more workers arrived, set the forms and poured and finished the concrete. Very happy with the result, the broom finish is a nice touch.

To be fair the job is not done. I’m still thinking everything will get resolved

They concrete guys did an awesome job, the electrician did a great job, just all the guys that they had do the work did a great job.

First, if you are unfamiliar with the building process, you need to know that time frames do not always hold true. Delays due to weather, labor or materials unavailability, or construction conflicts can put your project behind throughout the process. We found this is true with most construction projects, no matter what optimistic timeframe is first told to you. However, the most important part of remodeling or putting on an addition, is not the "how long did it take" part, rather the "how it looks when it is finished"part. And, it matters if the contractor address all your needs, and correct any problems along the way. We are at the age where a one floor plan would benefit us the most, as our bedrooms are upstairs, with the laundry in the basement. After looking into perhaps buy a ranch home and move, we realized that staying put and making it meet our needs was the best idea. We spoke with several of the bigger construction companies and were pretty much dismissed by them as they considered our 500 square foot addition not worthy of their time. But, not Mike from Bilt Rite! He was excited for our remodel and encouraged us to pick out tiles, shower doors, and fixtures within the first week. His price was much more modest than the other larger companies, which made us able to go forward with our plans. Throughout the process, all the work done was top-notch. My husband worked 25 years in the building trades and knew we were getting quality work at each phase of the remodel. As we watched the addition take form, we were amazed at how the staff did each of their specialties with precision, making sure that every one of our desires were met. The project did have a few bumps along the way. However, each and every time, Mike addressed the problem and it was quickly fixed. In the end, we ended up with an addition that not only meets our expectations, but exceeds them. We feel as if we are now living in a five star hotel with such beautiful accommodations. What started out being a new master bedroom with a walk-in closet, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and laundry room, ended up being all that AND new windows and siding too. Our house looks "brand new", inside and out! Before signing with one of the bigger construction companies, give Mike a call. We are sure you won't regret it once the project is finished!

I needed additional driveway space, Mike came told me what the job will cost and when they were able to do it, a few days later I had my larger driveway done in one day, great job very satisfied very pleased will call them again whenever I need cement work.

I called Mike from the home advisor list do to frustration with big box. He came over the next day and helped me not only calm down over my experience with big box but recommend a better design. He and his workers have always been available to answer any questions I have. They have also worked around our schedule. I truly appreciate all Mike 's knowledge. He made what was going to be a rough remodeling job into our dream kitchen. And in budget. .

We hired mike and his crew were great and very fast . They installed beautiful granite counters and cabinets and an undermount sink . We now have a built in microwave and great glass tile back splash. He worked with us like he was a member of our family and I highly recommend Bilt Rite to everyone.

This was our first major remodel. Mike and his crew were excellent in everything they did. Took a few days longer than we planned because we added a few electrical items to the list. We had original wiring and plumbing in our older duplex. Mikes team checked all our wiring (which was not up to code) and corrected all issues. Vented our bathroom to the outside which was not done originally, plus vented the other side of our duplex and fixed the wiring. Redid all our Kitchen outlets which were not wired correctly. Now we can have peace of mind there will be no electrical fire in our home. I did have a few minor issues(which to me were not minor) Mike and his crew listened to all my issues and resolved everything to my satisfaction. Since this was my first remodel I didn't know what was involved and was getting a bit nervous as to how everything was going to work out. Final comment- we are so happy with our bathroom. We feel like we are in a 5 star hotel. I will definitely consider Mike for future remodels. Every time I see my bathroom, I am delighted not to see the old original out of date ugly stuff. I am proud to have company use this bathroom. Mike and his crew are the best!

Mike is a great guy to work with. Any hiccups that occurred were quickly addressed. And all unseen changes were easily and fairly made. Wish you the best Mike and have a great new year!

Lived up to its name BILT RITE ! Very professional..Did exactly what I wanted (even a broom closet !). It was what I dreamt of but never realized it would happen. Mike and his crew were great. It was like an extended family (Will be missed). Excellent craftmanship, flooring, plumbing, siding. etc... The bath and laundry room are awesome. and the comfort room is just that ---- --COMFORT ! Cleaned up after the project. Thanks guys ! Will definitely hire again and recommend.......

They were top notch not only were they pleasant to deal with if I had a complaint they made sure it was fixed. They made my bathroom beautiful. I would hire them again when my next project comes up again

I hired them after getting several estimates. They weren't the lowest but after talking to Mike, I felt that he really cared about his craft. They came when they said they would, the completed the job and cleaned up after themselves. I'm 100 percent satisfied with my driveway and would HIGHLY recommend Bilt Rite to anyone.

Top Rates - Mike Ferraraccio and his entire crew and each sub contractor were amazing. The service, and quality of work met with our expectations and then some. It was a very involved project - demo - an existing unattached garage, and rebuilding with new concrete, etc...but we are beyond happy. Bilt Rite is a great company. I found them on Home Advisor - and I promise you won't go wrong with this choice.

Mike and his crew were very professional went over of what I expected from them. They are in my book of how to call and who to refer to when I need something done.

They did a wonderful job. We are very pleased with our new kitchen. We would definitely hire them again.
