This company, namely the owner, Mario DeCostanzo, committed insurance fraud while dealing with my insurance company. My sump pump stopped during a heavy rain,, leaving a couple inches of standing water in my basement. I called them on a Sunday (important later) and left a message. Mario returned my call that evening, quoted a reasonable price range based on the information I provided, and said he could be there in the morning. He arrived with his crew on Monday morning with 2 laborers. I walked the basement with him and afterwards he quoted me $12k - $15k to remove damaged possessions and furniture, remove ~500 sq ft of flooring, and remediate any mold. I agreed and his guys started removing items from the basement. Mario came back with paperwork for me to sign that had standard charges (rate / laborer / hr, mold remediation, nothing notably expensive), but no contract or total quote. At this time he informed me that it might come up to as much as $17k. It was a lot of work, and I needed it done, so I agreed. I made the mistake of mentioning what the amount was I was covered for and gave him the insurance company information, so he could go straight through them. A couple weeks later I received a breakdown of the adjusted insurance payment from my insurance company before they paid him. $27k! That's adjusted down from his bill of $31k! His breakdown included line items such as $900 for duct tape, $1200 for sweeping my floor, $3000 for mold remediation for ONE SIDE of a bare stud wall, then another $3000 for the OTHER SIDE! You can spray a stud wall completely from one side, and the spray he used cost $27 on Amazon. That phone call on Sunday evening? He charged it as an emergency service call for $300. $2200 for labor on the day they removed the floor, then another $3287.36 for them to remove the floor, then ANOTHER $3237. 97 for debris removal for the same flooring! Of course my insurance paid him all of my $25k limit because we "couldn't prove he didn't do the work", so their hands were tied. This guy is a criminal who will take advantage of you and count on you not to have the money afterwards to take him to court.

Very easy to deal with the owner, Mario. Workers were very diligent and walked thru what they would be doing. Would highly recommend. They cleaned up very well.

This is the second time I've used AdvantaClean and would definitely do so again. Mario, the owner, was very responsive and offered a detailed and frank appraisal of what may be needed and what different options would cost. The work was completed promptly and his team were knowledgeable, efficient and left an immaculate work site, at a cost lower than I had expected.

He made us feel like he was part of our family. We had to travel abroad after the fire. He took care of our house and kept sending us pictures and communicating with us making sure nothing would get lost or damaged. Very professional, extremely honest and got out of the way to take care of our home like his own.

I am selling my home, and during an inspection turned up mold behind a wall I didn't realize was there. I had worked with Mario years before on a different repair and knew the quality of his team's work. I got a call back immediately, the job was scheduled promptly, the work was done really well -- my home buyer was very impressed and reassured. An emergency like this can be really anxiety-provoking, but AdvantaClean made it as easy as possible for me. This was not an inexpensive fix but I thought the price was more than fair for the work and I feel like I got my money's worth. They also cleaned out my air ducts, and as an allergy sufferer I find myself wishing I had had that done years ago - the air in the house is so clean now. I recommend them highly.

. John Damon, Chris Smith, and Max Pisera worked on my job. They were professional, punctual, neat, and hard working. Mario (boss) is the best. Honest, on the job and very professional. I’d recommend the company!!

Mario arranged a visit to review the locations of HVAC units/returns and dryer vents before giving me a price and explaining that they will not just do the vents but also the coils and main trunks. He confirmed that it would be a 3 man team and their names in advance. At the arranged time the team arrived promptly and Mario arrived as well to show them where everything was. They all wore protective shoe covers and were very tidy and cleaned up as they went round. Took pictures of all vents and coils, before and after the cleaning. Our dryer vent is very awkward to get to and they were great. Overall very happy and would not hesitate to use them again.

I had a feeling that there was a larger issue than just a simple cleaning. There was a rusted portion of pipe and a very large clog. The dryer run is also a very long run. Max & Jose handled in one visit with complete professionalism. Mario monitored the situation closely. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the entire job went. And today I did a load of laundry and it dried in half the time.

The mold is gone and has stayed gone. Very professional.

Mario and his AdvantaClean team mobilized immediately to our emergency. Mario took control of assessing what needed to be done, and implemented all his resources, to the point where people who had been affected by the water damage were actually thanking him for the way he handled the situation. Mario has done other work in our building(s). He is the absolute expert in his field. Service is beyond expectations. He works endlessly until/unless the job is done right. His communication is exceptional. Don't look anywhere else! Mario is the guy you want when you need him!

Mario and his crew did an awesome job with the clean up but the real service was in helping with the other vendors, the air quality control person, the plumber and the contractor to put it all back.

A humidifier malfunctioned in our utility room, spraying steam on the ceiling. Mold formed on a portion of the ceiling. Mario came down the next day and was extremely thorough in his inspection and estimate. He gave us options and a fair estimate on price to complete the job. A few days later his crew came to complete the job. These guys were fantastic - thorough, clean, polite. They removed the affected sheet rock, cleaned the entire room, and replaced the sheet rock. Then the second day was spent on the two air handlers and all vents. Another provider came in to provide an estimate. Honestly, Mario and his team are stand-up guys and I trusted them to do the job the right way. He is someone I would hire again in an instant.

Mario showed up on time and instantly identified and took care of the problem. With the water heater leak, he brought in large fans and dehumidifiers and started the drying out process. He recommended other vendors to help us fixing the damage, and came back every day to check on the work. He and his guys were courteous, knowledgeable, and super professional. A+

Mario DiCostanzo is an exceptional communicator, which is essential to doing good business. He was responsive quickly; provided a reasonable estimate, and we were very happy with the work that was done. It's clear that Mario takes pride in the services he offers, but he's also very personable, and it's been a pleasure working with him. I'd recommend him not only for the quality of his services, but because he does so with a smile!

I couldn't have been happier with the service and pricing. I have this done annually at my office and have had other companies and none have even been close to the quality and professionalism of Advantage Clean. The run for the dryer was rather complicated with multiple turns and a pretty long run and they were able to handle it flawlessly. Clothes are now drying in 1/2 the time. Mario and his crew were top notch and I would recommend them to anyone in both the commercial and residential settings.

Mario and his team were fantastic! They were courteous and professional and came right away when I called. They treated our home as if it was happening at their own homes and went above-and-beyond anything we could have expected. They did their job and were going to head home when more flooding occurred and they stayed and worked very hard to make sure we had no further damage. We were amazed at their commitment to us and our home. After flooding from storms, they actually left our home in better condition than before the water got into our basement. Amazing!

Mario is wonderful and professional. He comes exactly when he says he will, and he explains everything he's doing thoroughly and kindly. What I especially appreciated is that he recommended a step-by-step analysis of the problem, and didn't just jump right to recommending an expensive remediation (which it turned out I didn't need). In the end, I was able to establish the mold was surface only and clean the walls. If I had any kind of a mold problem in the future, he'd be my first call.

They were professional, all the equipment they used appeared to be new and state of the art and by the end of the day besides the water stains on the walls and the carpet and flooring showing signs of the flood damage everything was back to some semblance of order. Mario, while doing the working also showed me some mold that apparently was already growing in my basement near the bedroom area that was probably there before the flood. He did some mold testing, then some days afterwards also removed it. He was knowledgeable and was quick to get back to me and assist me with working with my insurance company. Since we really didn't have any experience in getting things back into shape after the flood Mario assisted me in getting quotes and contractors in for new carpeting, flooring and carpentry. He gave me more than one just one guy to choose from which was refreshing so I felt like I could make the best decision that would be right for me and my budget. Overall these guys were first rate.
