Horrible job was done. He hacked into our cabinet with a saws all leaving an aweful looking ragged edge. There were still nails sticking out from underneath the cabinet. When he was done the dishwasher didn't work and he went to great lengths to show me that the electrical was working just fine and it must be the dishwasher itself. Had to take another day off from work to get a dishwasher repairman to review and he ran the plug to an already existing outlet and it worked just fine. The repairman showed me that the outlet Mike had installed was not properly installed. He basically just put a new box in but it wasn't grounded and had no electricity running to the third hole in the outlet. When I called Mike to tell him this, he stated that he could stop by in a couple of weeks to correct the problem. I told him that I didn't want him to touch anything more. I asked for a refund and he brought a money order for $40. and stated that covered the amount of time he spent on the outlet. As far as I'm concerned, I don't think Mike is qualified to build a birdhouse. I regret thinking of this as a small job and not doing better research before hiring someone. Hopefully, this will provide some warning to others.
