We could not be more satisfied with the quality and workmanship by Usee Builders. Frank the owner provided a design to our concepts of the replacement deck as we were increasing the size and adding additional deck space. His combination of the deck and patio pavers resulted in a stunning space. We now spend more time outside than we do inside. His valued creative input and recommendations resulted in a deck and outdoor space that exceeded our expectations. It's evident he takes great pride in delivering outstanding results, the work and materials was of high quality, schedule was met as originally presented and adjustments to budget (changes on behalf of owner :-) ) were priced appropriately.

They got the job done in about one week. The workers were all great, friendly, and good. The scheduling was good once we set the date.

The first thing another builder told me was that they should have used screws instead of nails to build this deck. Not one screw was used, only about a billion nails! The boards have started to come up and curl, making it impossible to hammer back down. I trusted that they could build the deck, but it seemed they weren't as knowledgable as I hoped for. That deck should have lasted longer than 5 years.

Almost everything went very well with the construction. Everything was installed in a reasonable amount of time from when promised. Since the installation, however, there has been a series of failed attempts to fix a drainage problem created by the installation of the walk. The builder has, after repeated calls, returned to fix the situation but has never actually fixed it. Now, water from the sump pump and from the gutter empties into a large hole and then runs down the walkway. It is eroding the sand between the pavers and the area is often covered with running water. Plantings have been disrupted as a result.  During a cold spell in the winter the buried line of water froze and water poured into the basement. Builder was reluctant to come back and address it and is now saying that he doesn't know what else he can do. I plan on continuing to try and seek a solution.

We found Frank Usee at the home show at the Fairgrounds. He contacted us and met with us several times while we figured out exactly what we wanted to do. He was always on time for his appointments and finished the job within the budget and on schedule. He was at the job site every day with his employees. We were very happy with our experience with him.
