I walked in, paid the $1 cover charge, they pointed me in the general direction of the make of vehicles that I needed parts for, and then I was free to search and pull what I needed. I didn't find every thing I was looking for, but what I did find saved me a lot of money. I paid $17 for a center console elsewhere the cheapest used one I could find was $50 and if I had to buy a new one from the dealer, it would have been more like $400.

All-in-all, I invested about 3 hours of my own scarce and highly valuable time, along with nearly $10 in wasted gasoline to get to and from their rather remote location, twice and all for nothing!
So tell me how this made sense-- let alone cash:
I found what I needed, brought it to the check-out window, attempted to pay using my mother's credit card (same last name at least) as I realized I had forgotten to bring enough cash, and these parts were for her car anyway. They, understandably refused to accept credit payment by card which did not have my name on it. However, they ALSO refused to let me pay by debit! (Of course, as I have been authorized to use her card in making purchases on her behalf, I know the p.i.n. #.) The employee merely said that he didn't make the rules and he would not let me pay by debit, despite the fact that I was prepared to. I attempted to explain that the purpose of a debit card IS so that it can be used without id. which IS what a p.i.n.# is for after all. He rudely and insistently interrupted me, saying the purpose of a credit card was ... (as if, I was perhaps as 'unclear on the concept' as their alleged story policy obviously is). So then I began again and this time was at least allowed to finish what I'd begun to say, though he was clearly unwilling to even think about what I was saying, and turned his back to walk away while I was talking. He simply said again that they wouldn't allow it, and quot;...end of discussionand quot;.--Oh, there was a and quot;discussionand quot; was there ... really? I must have missed it while I was being insolently interrupted or regarded dismissively from the moment the credit card was having a black greasy thumbprint smudged on the face of it so that they could prejudicially 'determine' that they were going to refuse to allow me to purchase a mere $10.-- worth of junk under any non-cash circumstances.
So then I asked them to set the hubcaps aside for me and I'd come back for them, which at least the man said they would do for me. When I returned for them three business days later, I was informed that they'd and quot;thrown them outand quot;.
Okay?
so again now,
let us review what we've learned:
U-Pull U-Save Auto Parts Inc.'s official policy is to hassle people over using a relative's debit card for even the most meager purchases of under ten dollars, and then throw away the materials which they could've made the same quick small buck on in any case? That sound about right, 'gentlemen'? Do let us know how that ANTI-business 'model' works out for your company in the long haul, please--I can't wait to hear of your filing for bankruptcy due to mismanagement favoring employes with petty, arrogantly asinine attitude problems over would be paying costumers .
If you don't have a problem being treated like dirt, you'll love this trashy-wonder hinter land sequestered away from civilization out there in 'the sticks'. Good luck!
