The Home Depot

They are major players with the reconstruction of the home that I’m in now. I’ve been engaged with them pretty much especially Home Depot since March of 2013. It’s sort of a long relationship with them. There were a couple of times when for instance the carpet that I bought from Home Depot, they subcontracted someone to come in and install it. Specifically, the carpet was excellent. They were efficient and on time. They did what they contracted. The quality of the materials is also very good and they have good price. I would use them again and I would recommend them.

Two people came and it took about two and half hours. He arrived on time and left the area clean. They were very nice, thorough, and did a great job. The installation went very good much better than ordering the carpet. The process of this was horrible this was do to the corporate scheduling, who changed the price. They were extremely inflexible and they were wrong on the price. They were not customer service friendly at all.

After agreeing on a price and signing a contract, they came back with about 20% increase, citing an estimation mistake.
I cancelled the contract as a result of that.
Subsequently, I found another professional contractor who did the job for less than their original quote, on time, high quality, and within budget.

I used this service because of the price and the guarantee on the carpet.

I was very pleased with the saleslady named Maggie, who was quite knowledgeable about the dishwashers. I had done a lot of research on the different models and price points, but she was able to point out other features and aspects that I didn't know about. She also went out of her way to save me money by helping me to purchase the necessary accessories (hose, etc.) off the shelf, rather than was the automatic method of and quot;add onsand quot; in the computer when totalling up the dishwasher sale. She noted that if I needed to return them, it would be much easier if they were a separate transaction, and I'm glad she did, as I will be returning them. Home Depot does not install, nor will they unhook or dismantle your old dishwasher - it has to be all ready to be hauled away if you want them to take it, which is part of their free service, as is the delivery. Tom's assured me that it wouldn't matter, as he would do the hauling away for free as well. Home Depot was very accommodating when it came to scheduling the delivery, and I even changed the date to be much sooner and that was no problem.

They call you the night before the scheduled date to tell you if it will be a morning or afternoon delivery, but won't give a specific time, just a range of time. Mine was from 1 to 5 pm, with the promise of a phone call 30 minutes before they would arrive. I received that call at 1:15 and was told it would be 30 to 60 minutes for their arrival. They got to my house at exactly 1:45. The two men were pleasant, efficient, and quick, alhough they only had to drop it off in my garage.

I had a thoroughly positive experience with Home Depot and it's employees, and was very pleasantly surprised, as I had dealt with both Best Buy and Sears with much less satisfactory results.

I think they were very good. The person who came to do the estimate was professional and easy to do business with. The supplier sent the wrong windows at first so we had to wait an extra week. It was a little frustrating. it was the suppliers fault. when the correct stuff came in was great. everything local was correctly

We found good prices here on a mid-price range stove and dishwasher. The sales representative, Maggie, was amazing. She gave us great advice about what features we should look for given our particular needs, and explained rebates on the free delivery service clearly. Sales people at other stores were either pushy or dodgy, or just didn't know as much, and were willing to say anything to just make a sale. Maggie took the time to make sure we got what we needed. The delivery guys on both appliances were excellent: very careful moving in and out of a tricky kitchen, professional and on-time. Best of all, when we ran into a snag (an appliance we had bought from the discount area had an unexpected problem), the management was terrific. They took back the appliance, without any question, and helped ease the whole process. We were in the middle of putting our house on the market, and the store worked to get everything done in time for our open house. This was the best experience I've ever had with this kind of store. I was surprised at how great Home Depo's service was. I'll definitely go to this store again.
