I can't say enough good things about Joe Gardner and Sons Moving!  Starting with the appointment, which I had to change several times, due to our closing date being moved - Brenda in the office is great.  She understands how it goes when you are buying and selling a house and really worked with us.  The guys on the moving crew were awesome.  We had a LOT of stuff, for such a small townhouse.  We had over 86 boxes of books alone!  When the crew leader realized how much we had, they called for reinforcements.  More helpers, another truck and even the owner, Bob Gardner, came to help.  It was a long, late move, but they were courteous and kept working through the job.  I don't know how we would have done it without them!  The rate was $100 per hour, plus 1 hour for travel. A great deal, for the amount of work that was done!

They were very careful and professional. Arrived right on time and moved things quickly.  I would recommend them to friends, and I would use them again in the future.

They arrived about 5 minutes earlier than planned and got to work right away once they did a quick survey of my stuff. I told them I wanted to be done in the 2 hour minimum if possible and they said it wouldn't be an issue. The three gentlemen that showed up were AWESOME. very courteous and worked quickly to get my stuff moved. I haven't found any damage and so I am a happy customer.

They showed up when the said they would and brought a truck big enough to handle the whole load in one trip. They worked hard, and their cost was way lower then other quotes. I would use them again.

They showed up on time. They looked over our bounty and figured it would take 3 trips. They worked hard, they respected our possessions and our property. The crew was helpful, friendly and they kept busy. It took 2 loads and 7 hours. Nothing was broken, nothing was lost. They earned every penny and we were happy to pay them. Would use them again.

1/2!) I gave them the information over the phone, they have a flat rate

per hour, and they gave me a guess on how many hours it would take. I

was worried that they may and quot;lingerand quot; over the move in order to beef up the

hours, but based on a few other positive recommendations from friends,

we took a chance. Once they got there the Lead mover said it would take

two loads and I thought, welp, there you have it-double the price. Even

with the two trips they came in just under what they had estimated. The

movers were courteous and efficient. I saw no dilly-dallying. We have

to move again in a few months once our new house is built and I will use

them. They helped take the stress out of this double move and eased our

budget a bit at the same time!

We always use him when we move locally. He was very reasonably priced. They are very timely and show up when they say they will and get it done when they say they are going to. They don't scratch, dent or break anything. We have used them probably about 10 times. I checked around to other local companies and they were the most reasonable.

I hired this moving company once in the past and had excellent service. I hired them again when I bought a house but three different workers reported for the job. They were whiney, irresponsible, inefficient and incredibly slow. They turned a potentially 5 to 6 hour job into 8 hours costing me $850. I had some very minor damage on a dresser but my complaint lies in the fact that they were so slow. I had four people helping them, one of whom I paid. I called the company office and left messages for the owner to return my call - ten times!! The owner is not interested in customer satisfaction - she cashed my check, end of story. I also mailed a registered letter outlining my complaint, she refused it.
