i ordered a recliner from the east setauket store in the fall of 2012, with the help of a very knowledgeable and pleasant salesperson named valerie. i had bought one from them many years ago and it had finally worn out (i am quite large and spend a LOT of time in my recliner). valerie helped me pick out the one i wanted to order, and collected my down payment. then i ran into several financial problems that lasted more than six months, so i couldn't pick up the chair until june. valerie and everyone else in the store was so patient with me! they were very understanding, and every time i called to say i didn't have the money to pick up the chair yet, they told me not to worry, they were keeping it on the premises and just let them know when i had the money. i don't know how this compares with the treatment i would get at another company, but i was impressed by their understanding and kindness. i love their merchandise; the foam padding tends to wear out sooner than some brands (that's the only reason i gave them a B for quality), but the mechanisms on these things are well-nigh indestructible! i have recommended the products and that store to other people and no doubt will do so again.
