This is our second year with Scott and his staff I waited til this year to write this review, since I wanted to give them time to make their "mark". And they have!! It's been a while since our lawn has looked this good and I just want to commend Scott for making good on his promises. PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

All the dandelions that were already springing up are gone and the lawn is already much greener and full. Scott suggested I do a core aeration and over-seed in the fall and included a good price for the work and this is something I definitely will do. If your looking for a company to take care of your lawn, give him a shot. I'm sure that you'll be pleased with the results Thanks Scott!

This spring, the lawn looks terrible. Worse than it ever did. I called Scott and left a message asking him to come over and take a look and tell us what to do next because it looked bad. He didn't return my call, so after a few days I called back and got him on the phone. He said, somewhat contemptuously, that it wouldn't do any good for him to come over, that he'd already walked around our property a few times in years past, that our lawn was just in bad shape and would never look good unless we got new turf. I asked him why he had then recommended and charged us for aeration and re-seeding and fertilization if it was a hopeless cause. He said that it would have looked even worse if we had done nothing. I feel strongly that he should have told us honestly that what he was doing wouldn't fix our problems rather than encouraging us to spend our money and then telling us later that it was pretty much useless. Needless to say, I would not recommend him to anyone.

"During my initial visit to this property I explained to the homeowner my concern regarding sandy soil, a steep slope and invasive grass types. These are simply problems fertilizer and seed will not correct. Multiple estimates were provided for larger jobs to replace the soil and start with a new lawn. These estimates were denied due to the high cost. I was asked if anything else could help the lawn look better. While the seeding provided new grass and the fertilizer / weed control kept it in good shape for most of the year the heat and drought conditions of any typical august killed many of the areas with sandy soil. With each visit and "walk around" on the property I explained these problems. After three years of doing it the "cheaper" way it was obvious that this was not able to reach the expectations the homeowner had. After expressing this to the homeowner she seemed upset in my honesty and has reflected it in this review. Furthermore, I feel my professionalism and responsiveness could not have been any better in this case."

Scott first came to my property and walked me through what needed to be done to help with my lawn issues and what I could do to prevent in the future. He clearly laid it all out for me and came back another day to apply once I decided which treatments I wanted. He was very professional and explained why certain things should be done (and also areas where I could save money and not do anything at this time).

HOW DO YOU CALL YOURSELF A LAWN COMPANY WHEN YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO FOR LAWNS? IT TOOK ME A LOT OF MY OWN SEED with potting soil to cover to get it back to where it was.

The first year we arrive on a lawn is always the toughest for various reasons. As we get to know the lawn and the issues it faces we are able to custom tailor a program for the best results Unfortunately Mrs. [Member name] only received four applications before cancelling. I believe with some more time and a first year discounted aeration and seeding we would have met the expectations desired."

We had been disappointed by another lawn-servicing outfit, so based on the reviews we decided to give Scott a try ... and we're very glad we did. The lawn hasn't looked this good since we moved in in 1995!
Not only does the lawn look great, but his prices are more reasonable than the other outfit that didn't do a proper job.

I am going to use their services starting in the spring time. I called them and a fellow from the company gave me a very reasonable estimate. I am going to have them start in March. They do not cut the lawn but they fertilize and maintain the lawn at peak performance. I used another company and I was unhappy with them this season. I have had them for two seasons in a row and I figured that it was about time that I changed. I hope and think that they will do well because they are on the Angie's List webpage. The punctuality of the man who came out was also very good.
