MAKEOVER ROOFING & SIDING CORP

Disaster! Roofing was defective in color. Had to call in the manufacturer. Snow and ice shield was not installed as per agreement and water backed up into the soffits with the first snow and subsequent freeze. To add insult to injury, apparently this roofer subcontracted out to another company. The roofer who was originally contracted to do the job told me he was now working for Makeover, and that he was reliable and professional and that he himself would be doing the actual labor. Turned out this original roofer no longer even had a license to do roofing. He had been a roofer in the area for about thirty years and had a good reputation. He claimed later that Mr. Buckhout did not let him do the job the way it was supposed to be done. They cut a lot of corners! Makeover was unresponsive to telephone calls for a solution to the problems. Upshot was having to have the whole roof ripped off and hire another roofer to do the job properly and with the proper materials.
