ON THE ROAD GLASS

On the Road Glass was recommended by our realtor in order to take the place of outdated mirrors and medicine cabinets. Our initial contacts were positive. They came out and measured, which was a good thing because it was more complicated than originally thought. Joyce said she would call me the following day with the new price estimate. She didn't call until several days later, when she told me they would have to order a part that was supposed to come in on Tuesday and they could do the installation Tuesday afternoon. By Tuesday afternoon, I had heard nothing from them, so I called my realtor. She then called the business and was told the necessary part had been delivered and the mirrors would be installed early Wednesday morning at 9:15. We were having 30 real estate agents touring our house at 11:00 and On the Road Glass assured the realtor the mirrors would be installed on time. On Wednesday, no one showed up; then Joyce called me at 10:00, saying that they were waiting on the necessary part, which would be delivered on Thursday. I asked why our realtor had been told the previous day that the part was in and installation would be done. Joyce said she had been out ill and knew nothing about it. So 30 real estate agents saw our bathrooms with gaping holes in the wall! On the Road Glass finally came out Thursday morning and installed the mirrors. They deducted $40 from the bill because of what happened, but I think they really never understood why I was upset.
