Very pleased with work. Professional, courteous. Graham takes pride in his work. I have an older house and he understood that I wanted it to be restored to its original decor. The crown molding that was water damaged was replaced to look like the original. Finished within a reasonable time period.

Maskell & Son did an excellent job removing my old rotted door and installing a new one. Shaun completed the work in a professional and timely manner.

Maskell and sons helped me out of a difficult situation. A close friend and myself installed 6 casement windows and one patio door in my new home. At the time I was having vinyl siding and stone work installed on my home by another contractor. The contractor pointed out  that we had installed the windows and patio door incorrectly. They were installed into openings that were too tight causing the window frames to become misaligned. I was told with the weight of the siding and the stone work that within a year I would not be able to open the window. unfortunately the contractor could not make the necessary repairs as his crew was busy working at other job sites.
This began my search for a contractor who could correct my problem. When I told my wife she indicated she had just subscribed to Angie's list and I should give them a try. I completed the online questionnaire and submitted my request. Within a couple of hours I received a response form Maskell and Sons. I informed Graham of my problem and the time sensitive nature of needing a timely a fix. Graham stopped by my home that night to inspect the windows and patio door then called the next morning with his bid. With the bid accepted. Graham and Josh were onsite 2 days later to make the repairs.
I must say I will definitely use Maskell and Sons again the work was professional, clean and my problem resolved beyond my expectations. I did not mentioned the references that were provided. Each gave raving reviews and were long term customers who have used Maskell and Sons repeatedly for many projects

He came exactly when he said he would come. He was fast, competent, neat, and polite. I was very pleased. I will hire him again whenever I have that kind of work that needs to be done.
This company does other kinds of work too, but I needed only handyman work so that is what I am reporting.

Gram took wall paper off my kitchen walls which had been there for over 20 years.  He worked diligently so he would not have to replace the sheet rock.  When the paper was off he noticed a bulge on the wall and he made sure it was straight and everything was prepared for painting.  I'm also so bad with color and he was kind enough to  help me with that.  I picked two colors got sample size paint he put it on the wall and I lived with it for a day and then decided.  He also did some carpentry work in my kitchen which came out great.  This had the potential to be a big mess.  Not with Maskel and Sons.  He covered up my doorways so the dust would not spread.  When he left for the day my kitchen was clean so I could make dinner.  Maskel and Sons were professional,clean and the work was excellent..  My kitchen walls looked like they were just put up.  I was so pleased that I had him paint the rest of that level of my house.  I hope to have him back in the spring to build a new deck.  I must say it was my pleasure to have him work for me.

It was a pleasure working with Graham Maskell and his team. They came and fully explained the course of work, price, and expected finish date. Price was much cheaper than other estimates we received from other contractors. Everything went smoothly. The team was very nice and cleaned up after themselves every day. Showed up every day at 7am and worked all day. Job was finished ahead of schedule. Highly recommend Maskell & Son to everyone!
