Excellent came right over and fixed problem for less than $200 First repair person on Angie's list Said need whole new system for $2000 Or more They were prompt courteous meat and extremely honest . Would and did recommend to anyone needing service

Larkfield vacuums installed my whole house vacuuming system approximately 7 years ago (I wish I had written a review about that experience - I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!!).
This time around? The motor on my whole house vacuum stopped functioning on Monday, June 24. I did some and quot;troubleshootingand quot; on my own. Then called Kenny at Larkfield. I explained the steps I had taken, and he suggested a and quot;house calland quot; from Gus (the gentleman in charge of installations/repairs). Kenny said it sounded as if the motor would need to be replaced, hopefully, not the whole machine. Thankfully, Gus was available to come to my home the next day, at 3pm. I have 4 Siberian Huskies, and vacuuming is practically a daily chore for me (or, my designee).
Gus arrived at about 2:50pm. And immediately went to work. Within only a few minutes, he confirmed, it was indeed the motor that was in need of replacement.
Option 1: replace the motor $300
Option 2: replace the entire machine $750
Gus said, and quot;Miss Linda, the machine is perfect. I would just replace the motor.and quot;
I concurred! (AND saved a few dollars). It took Gus approximately 30 minutes to complete the work. The work area was left spotless.

Ken was the point man and he was extremely responsive, professional and thorough. From the first call to the design of the system to the finishing touches he was hands on and thorough. He mapped out how much time he would need and at what stage of construction he needed to be there. Ken was prompt, worked efficiently and neatly and always cleaned up. He made any changes to the installation requested and his follow up was immediate. A very pleasurable experience and i highly recommend the team.
