The crew was very professional and clean and showed up when they said . The owner Pat was there everyday, pleasant and very concerned about the work ,And making sure I was happy with the progress of the job. He constantly kept me informed. This was my first kitchen renovation and he was very helpful with suggestions and guidance on where to shop for materials and ideas. The renovation went according to plan. All said and done the kitchen is beautiful and was finished in the time he said it would be. His work is in the details and his experience.

KPK Home Improvement provided quality professional craftsmanship and carpentry services. Pat Kelly and his work crew were prompt, arriving ready to work when expected. Working in a rather small space, they ensured that the work was done neatly with little disruption to the rest of the home. Pat Kelly, a highly skilled and experienced carpenter, made many helpful suggestions that we as homeowners would not have thought of. For example, I wanted a garden window very much, but thought that because the window would jut out over an outside stairs leading to a basement entrance it would not be feasible, creating a safety hazard for anyone entering the basement. Mr. Kelly suggested that by raising the window higher, enough to safely clear the stairs, that I could have my window. Although installing the window did present challenges, Mr. Kelly and his crew installed it expertly and it is now the focal point of an otherwise dark kitchen providing light and an illusion of space. Additionally, while awaiting the installation of the granite countertop and sink, Mr. Kelly built a temporary countertop of plywood and put back the sink to enable our family to still use the kitchen. This was a tremendous help, as it greatly minimized the disruption of not having a workable kitchen for another 2 weeks. This was not something we asked to be done, but again it was by Mr. Kelly's initiative and going the extra mile to meet his customer's needs. In response to our questions and ideas for things I wanted in the kitchen, Mr. Kelly always had a solution and a way of making those ideas come to fruition. This was not the first project KPK Home Improvements have done for us. Over the past ten years, they have remodeled our basement, installed a new upstairs bath, built a deck around our above ground pool and other small projects, that most contractors would have bypassed on as not large enough. I highly recommend KPK Home Improvements to anyone who is looking for an honest, reliable, and skilled workmanship at a reasonable cost. KPK Home Improvement approaches each job like it was their own home.
