Inspect-It 1st Property Inspections

StreMitch from Inspect-It 1st was great.  He arrived early to inspect the exterior of the house then went over his finding with us. He was very detailed and went step by step, starting with the side walk, then the front yard, the driveway, then the back yard and garage. Along the way he explained all the key points he looks at, the types of materials used on the roof, the gutters, the age of the brick, the mechanics of the garage door.  There were some items that were not concerns but he gave tips to make things better anyway.
Next he inspected the inside, he turned the heat on and up to make sure it was working, checked all the outlets to make sure they were up to code, examined the windows and any cracks in the paint and was able to tell us if it was just cosmetic or something else like water damage etc.  He made suggestions regarding the bathroom (we should add a vent) .  Mich also was diligent about the electric panel,  asbestos and the condition of the boiler and hot water heater.
He  was also very clear about what he does and doesn't do.  He didn't try to give us a punch list or itemized budget and he was good at pointing out that all inspections are limited to watch he can touch, see or hear. 
The written report is outstanding.  It includes plenty of photographs including aerial photos of the roof. Also a summary of the major systems (heat, water, electric etc) and suggestions. He also included a list of referrals for other services.  I would suggest Inspect-It 1st/ Mitch to anyone who needs an inspection.

Everything went very well. Mitch arrived a half an hour early as his email said his intensions were. Completed a thorough inspection giving me and my wife all the information as he went through. He explained everything to us and provided us with a list of professionals his company recommends for any and all work we may need done to the home. His personality was both friendly and professional.

He walked through the entire home giving me points, tips, recommendations. Very knowledgeable, friendly as well as full business. He pointed out things I overlooked.

Mitchell was very quick to respond and thorough in his inspection.  The formal report was received in less than 24 hours and he was very professional throughout the entire process.  Would definitely use him again.

The home inspection with Inspect-It 1st went very well!  Mitchell Allen was extremely professional and knowledgable.  He was very patient and explained every point of his inspection, and we walked away with a very good understanding of the home we are purchasing.  He was also very thorough and detail oriented, and was used to having an audience following him around the house!  I received the inspection by the end of the same day he performed the inspection, so very quick follow-through.  He also took the time to answer all of my questions after reading the report.  Would absolutely recommend Mitchell and Inspect-It 1st to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!
