As a landlord I wanted the the outlets in my tenants apartment fixed. I was told they would charge 69. 99 to come out and check what the problem was. On getting there, my tenant told me they want him to sign a paper for the 69.99. After they finished these so called criminals sent me a bill of $298. 00 just to tell me my outlet wasn’t working. I mean that was the reason I called them. I don’t know why they charged my tenant, I called them for the job and they were supposed to be dealing with me not the tenants. I do not know how they manipulated the tenant. After that they sent me an estimate totaling $1000.00 . Duffy contracts the job to another contractor. So I was basically dealing with two companies. He now said he would take $200 from the charge. Pls Beware people, this people have a software that updates the price. The next time I clicked on the link, the estimate has jumped from $1000 to $1298. They are criminals, pls beware. I called you for a job not my tenant, if you have any business sense u would deal with the landlord not the tenant. I’m just disappointed.

Duffy responded immediately to an emergency call and sent a technician out within four hours. The technician clearly stated the terms of service and diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Charged me less than the estimate because of the quick resolution.

Brian and his crew did an excellent job. Very friendly and professional. They updated my electric panel, sub panel, and 15 or so outlets (including gfi where needed). All his work is up to code. Fair pricing. He and his crew knocked out two days of work in one day. It's hard to find a contractor that you trust to come back. I've hired him twice more since and will hire him again when projects come up. I definitely recommend using Duffy Electric.

At first there was only partial outage, the local guy Mike came to take a look. A confirmation email was sent to me and Brian said the assement would cost $59, which was fair enough. Mike found out that the partial outage can only be fixed on PSEG part, and suggested for me to call. Later, my parent realized that we needed a ceiling light installation which I proceed to ask very nicely for Mike to install. Mike did a very good job with the installation and was clever enough to jump the electricity from one leg to the next. However, in the end during the payment, Mike did not give me the final receipt/paper, just straight up told me a fixed price of $190.19. He also did not email me the receipt either in which I was told by Brian he would. Mike even asked for my email himself. I felt extremely vulnerable in the situation in which of course, I’m not an electrician professional, I wouldn’t know the price. But I’d like to see at least some sort of confirmation instead of being left feeling like I just got ripped off. I was nice enough to give him a nice brown bag of iced cold beer, water bottle and homemade cookies.

He did it like it was his own house. He was very careful to not damage the roof shingles and I would highly recommend him. He was neat, his truck was clean and he was a real nice guy. Very professional company.

I called Duffy Electric during off-business hours and Brian returned my call within 20 minutes. He was very professional and informative. We got a quote for the repairs, based on verbal description of the damage along with pictures that I sent him, within 2 hours. 2 other companies that I called did not get back to me until the following week. Repairs were scheduled and completed within 4 days. The electrician who performed the repairs (Mike) was equally professional and courteous. Work was neat and thorough. Excellent company - I would highly recommend.

Everything about the service was awesome from Brian, who set up the appointment(on a Saturday no less), to Mike who performed the work. The job was done in a timely, efficient manner, Mike was a friendly, knowledgable electrician and I would use them again in the future for all my electrical needs, highly recommended, thanks again!
