it couldn't be better. i brought the recorder to him on wednesday 1/28/15 and received a call that evening telling me what the problem had been and that the cost was $150. While i think this is high to change a belt, the reality is that finding competent people to repair old electronics is very difficult. When you find someone who can do it you should be thankful that they are still around. I picked it up onThursday 1/29/15 and have used it and it works fine.
