Had them service and clean my hot water heater in October 2015 and ever since, there's been one problem after another; hot water heater, which was only 2 year's old decided to empty all of it's 50 gallons of hot steaming water into basement, never happened before, even with old hot water heater that lasted 14 years; technician couldn't figure it out and they blamed Suffolk County Water Authority.
Furnace also is not working properly and will not turn on when thermostat is adjusted, again this never occurred before the October 2015 service; technician showed up but could not figure it out and of course started immediately denying any responsibility on the part of Schenck, rather than apologizing and attempting to fix the problem.
They have often screwed things up in accounting and it's taken many phone calls to resolve that.
They made a fuel delivery that was not requested when I'm on call and not automatic delivery and then charged me a penalty for a delivery to a tank that was too full; again, that required multiple calls to fix.
Finally spoke with Greg today who was extremely nasty and not at all apologetic although he agreed to refund my service contract fee, I'm sure this too will take endless phone calls and no doubt will require a lawsuit to accomplish.
STAY AWAY from this company. They are apparently too large and simply don't care enough about customer satisfaction.
