About us

I opened Big Apple BBQ Center in 1989 as NYC’s first and only specialty retail store exclusively selling barbeque equipment and propane gas. And recognizing the difficulty so many metropolitan area New Yorkers faced in getting propane for their grills, we pioneered the propane gas home delivery industry and created two specialty propane delivery services.

Couldn't have gone any better. After shopping around many places and getting discouraged by pricing I came across Big Apple on the Internet. From my first call to Tony, to my first visit in the store with Joe and the last visit with both Tony and Joe everything was professional and courteous. Install went perfect. The installers where professional, courteous and left everything spotless. Thanks again. We will be back.

We're just waiting for them to get back with me. The unit is a set price through the distributor. The installation was $1200 for installing the fireplace and $600 for doing some plumbing work to move my gas line. They're very reasonable. They're very professional and very personable. They're always willing to answer questions. They really do provide outstanding customer service. I will be going with them in the future.
