DODGE ENTERPRISES

The plumber, John Dodge, was very confident in himself during the bid. But during the job he was difficult to work with. He balked at being asked to put a drain tray under an upstairs washing machine, even though he was being paid time and materials. He undersized the vent for the jacuzzi tub by error. It was difficult to discuss any aspect of the job with him. He did not complete the work. We hired someone else to finish. The carpenter Jaime Dodge was hired to put a new beam in the basement and level the floor above it. He did replace the beam, but he threw the old one in the back yard instead of disposing of it. He did not level the floor, arguing that the house would be damaged (even though it had obviously been built level). He refused to complete the work. We then hired Gus Hartlehoff to level the floor and he did a beautiful job. He added another steel beam (his beam's price: $50. Dodge's price: $250) and got the floor with 1/2" of perfect.
