After I got the chair I brought it back to my home in Philadelphia. At first the chair worked fine, over time the foot rest got lower wand lower, I used the chair a lot since I had broken my ankle and had to keep my leg elevated. Eventually, the foot rest came off and was not functional. I tried to contact the company but always got the message that they were moving from Gowanda to East Aurora and they would call back - they never did. I emailed them and again got no reply. I did finally get a call from Ryan McKeever who told me that they no longer carried the chair, they are now focusing on kitchen renovations. I told Ryan that I felt that they should do something and stand behind a product that they had sold. I told him that a chair costing over $1000 should last more than 2 and one half years, he told me they would be in touch, I have not heard from them.
