Jerry recommended replacing the furnace because our current forced air furnace (original to '78 house) was on its last legs and would need some serious maintenance soon. We had Jerry and his son install a Goodman furnace along with a new humidifer, humidistat, and thermostat. The installation took longer than he initially anticipated, a full 2 days and a few hours on an additional 3rd day but he stuck to the original estimate with no issues. The new 95% AFUE furnace works great and has taken an already noticeable chunk out of our heating bill. We've been very happy with the work. Jerry and his son also performed maintenance service on our old boiler which needed some replacement parts which also had some history of leaking via its emergency pressure release which was all fixed as well. In his opinion the boiler should last about another 10 years so we were happy to hear that too. New Era was also able to fit in all needed work in time to still qualify for the local gas rebate program.
