Gerry's Service

They open at 7:30 AM, but told me the mechanic is usually late so don't come until 7:45.  I specifically asked at 7:45 if it would take more than an hour to get my car inspected.  I was assured it would not, but the technician came back at 9:00 and told me of the work needed to pass my car.  I didn't leave the shop until 9:30, making me late for work.

The staff were awesome. We had two car to register and they completed the inspections. They have coupons on their website which help bring the cost down.

when i picked up my vehicle, my front window was cracked. they denied being responsible. i had the window fixed by my glass coverage through my insurance.

i took both of my cars to gerry's for over 6 years but the prices kept increasing and the service seemed to be of lower quality as his business expanded.  on at least two occasions he recommended very expensive repairs which two other shops advised were not necessary.

I went in with a coupon for a $35 oil change. They suggested I get the "Complete Maintenance Pkg" because I was a new customer (cost= $43) and I agreed. It wasn't until I was home and inspected the bill that I realized it didn't even include the oil change (additional $28)! I needed an new air filter so I agreed to that. Then they noticed my car was 1 day out of inspection so I agreed to that and was told that they couldn't pass it because my wiper blades were worn (this on a car that had regular maintenance at the dealer). Those cost $42 -!!!  Then, based on some concerns I had, they suggested another $600 worth of service which was iffy at best. I declined and felt lucky to get out of there for only $185 - !  
Very friendly people - nice lady drove me home while they worked on my car. But I really feel they saw me coming and took advantage.  

They understand the value of time. They provide quality service at a reasonable price.
